Why should he walk out.
He doesn't need to,he was able to not vote in the eviction so he has no reason at all to walk out.
A bit rich of Danny to be suddenly all moral going on about what they signed up to,no housemate has ever had to vote out a housemate before in any series that I can recall.
Someone will put me right as to that if I am wrong.
Danny didn't sign up to be aggressive, push his face into other peoples faces and get violent.
What a hypocrite, strutting round like a pompous peacock.
Had BB said Joel had to vote or leave, then'possibly' he may have walked out, since they didn't force him to, then he has no reason whatsoever to leave and he has his integrity intact.
Now what is really eating away now at Danny,is he realises he has the likely blame from outside observers for Sams eviction.
Channelling his guilt onto Joel is I hope a very bad move for him and hopefully he will find that out in the votes to win this week.
I honestly haven't a clue who Danny thinks he is.

Thank you Vicky well therein lies a difference again to this eviction since the public were not consulted in any way as to this.
I was only 13 for that series, I was sure I may have missed something like but I thought I'd never seen an eviction with no public input at some time.

He doesn't need to,he was able to not vote in the eviction so he has no reason at all to walk out.
His problem is with the producers and the show. If he doesn't like what the show is asking him to do, he should walk out in protest. But he won't, because he doesn't believe a single word he's saying. or if he does, he won't actually do anything that matters about it.

This thread is about Joel. I couldn't care less about Danny. I don't like him. Why do people defending Joel keep attacking Danny like it's relevent?
Had BB said Joel had to vote or leave, then'possibly' he may have walked out, since they didn't force him to, then he has no reason whatsoever to leave and he has his integrity intact.
he can walk out at any time in protest against what the show has tried to make him and others do to another housemate. But instead he's still there.
Now what is really eating away now at Danny,is he realises he has the likely blame from outside observers for Sams eviction.

Vanessa was evicted in such a manner.
Marlon was evicted because he got the most noms (the HMs weren't aware that this is what they were voting for)
And Danielle was evicted by Zoe and Pav a week later

Joel has never protested at the show or about BB, only this particular killer eviction.
He has expressed his feelings the eviction is wrong, he would not vote, BB allowed him not to be part of the vote.
Different thing altogether had they forced him to vote.
That's why he shouldn't and needn't have walked.
Danny is a major part of this because he made the biggest fuss, even Chloe said she could actually see both sides and she is Danny's biggest ally in there when it suits her.
Joel doesn't object at all to the show, only this eviction, a massive difference.

Because he got his friend thrown out over a drunken joke gone wrong, BB had already told Aaron off earlier in the night so there was no need for Joel to stick the Knife in more.
My biggest issue with Joel is how he rehearses everything that he does, he didn't really care about Sam's eviction, just that it made him look good to “not want to vote anyone of them out” Nick felt much more genuine with his defense of Sam because it was much more subtle and looking less like he was trying to impress the public (btw I dislike Nick more than Joel) my other issue with Joel is that he'll only take on people who are either thick (Danny) or people that are in such a rage in the heat of the moment that they can't articulate themselves properly (Sarah) and of course his gonna look better in the arguments when you see the other two behave like the way they did, but if you look at the underlining factor of both arguments they have more valid points in their arguments against Joel than he does against them.

It does if you can get your head around it.
He said he refused to take part in it... which he did. That's literally all that's to it.
Right, he saw an opportunity to try to make himself look good. If he truly believed what was being asked of him and others was wrong he would protest against the production team who put him in that position. But he doesn't. He tries to make others look bad instead. It was utterly self serving.
He doesn't need to walk out of the house to show a 'principled stance', he's already done that by refusing to do a 'flash vote' to eject someone.
No he hasn't. What he showed is that he'll make it look like he's taking a principled stance and smear his opponents when a vote to win is ongoing. If he was truly opposed to what happened he would take it out on the production team who were responsible for it. But he doesn't do that, because he isn't really opposed to anything that happened tonight, he's just trying to make himself look good and make the other HMs look bad.

Yes, he was opting out but gave an opinion on who he wanted to keep. He was taking a so called principled stance, but at the same time got his say in. In other words, he wanted it both ways.
...and did people not see the convo between Christian and Joel tonight when Christian quoted him as saying to him 'You and Danny make the decision' and Joel agreed that he said that. So he wasn't averse to the decision being made to evict a HM by someone else AT ALL, just not by him.
I've really wanted to continue to like Joel as he was one of my early favs as my previous posts show, but he is coming across to me as more sanctimonious and holier - than - thou by the day and letting others take the heat and wriggling out of the latest twist has further disappointed me. Imo if he was really serious about his principles he would have laid heavily into BB in the diary room for putting himself AND his fellow HM's in that position and showed some understanding of the dilemma that those left to choose had to face, instead of laying into the other HM's for not vetoing it.

I think where Aaron went over the limit was when with Joel not even in the room he got into Joels bed exposed too.

Which the people responsible for the show, the BB production team, came up with. If he wants to protest it, then he should take them on.
He did take them on, he told them they were wrong in his opinion and he stuck by what he said too by not voting to do it.
Since no punishment has been given out to him for doing so, clearly BB accepted his reasons for not voting, they have done nothing as to to him for not voting.
When you are accommodated like that on an issue, you wouldn't then leave, you have made your stand and been able to hold firm to that stand.
Joel also accepted the other 3 housemates chose to make the decision, while he remained firm he was not going to,that is actually very democratic.
BB got their way with the majority decision,Joel was able to hold to his principles and also have his way on the issue too.
No way a leaving or walking out scenario even needing being thought of, let alone coming about.

Avoid vexations Mock, they just waste your energy and time. You just keep on with your across the board amazing posts.
I think where Aaron went over the limit was when with Joel not even in the room he got into Joels bed exposed too.
That is someones' private space and should not be violated at all.
I do think Joel did not say NO to him strongly enough and all were laughing, I think it was wrong to eject Aaron.
However I would be furious if anyone, even family got into my bed when I wasn't there fully exposed too.
That was where Aaron went a bit too far, still not an ejection issue and no way at all considering what Danny as got away with time after time.
You make fair points Joey, if people want to go off Aaron for that action then fair enough, did Aaron deserve a warning? Definitely, but did he deserve his “friend” encouraging his ejection to BB in the Diary Room? I personally don't think so.

No, I think Aaron should have been warned and allowed to stay. I don;t think Joel to be fair called for him to be thrown out,he dis say he felt very uncomfortable by the incident.
Not sure they were what could be termed friends, they got on most times definitely.
Aarons problem was he perhaps went on with it too long but no, he should not have been ejected for it in my view.
By the same token however, he shouldn't have charged round almost naked and exposed after another housemate in the first place.
Mind you, I recall Mario hounding Ben Duncan and also often running round the house and garden fully naked.
No way was he ejected, that was channel 4 though.

...and as she was obviously the one that was going, he opted out because of guilt, rather than principles.

She would still have been up, she had far more nominations than just Joels.
Doesn't change the fact he hated the way she was evicted not that she was evicted.
Had BB just done a double eviction, and she had been next as the 'public' choice to go, he would have been absolutely fine with that.
