I personally think they have, I feel the casting has defo improved, last years was quite good, just a bit boring towards the end but overall a good series.
They seemed to put more effort with changing the house last year as well.
I liked CBB12, and CBB10 was ok.
I think this years CBB could be amazing if rumours are true tbh!

CBB14 started off very good.. so maybe if that can extend and be more consistent, yes
...not really, no
(I'd put them CBB10 > CBB12/CBB14 > CBB8, but there isn't much difference between the first three at least)

I mean, they've always been second rate to winter.

I said yes because I enjoyed the first two weeks of CBB14... but CBB10 was the best summer CBB.

They've all be dire and a load of tripe for me. But I did find the start of last years quite good until it became all about Gary Busey and James Jordan, then I switched off.
The winter CBBs smash the summer ones.
The producers seem to be getting better and better with CBB though so I can see this years one being an improvement given CBB seems to be growing in popularity each year.

I think I'm most excited for this Summer CBB, I was really excited for CBB14! It's probably because BB16 has been a dire BB series that it's nice to have CBB after.

Winter >
I think I've given up and got bored of all of the summer CBB's except for CBB14 but then I didn't watch BB15 before it so I guess that's the reason. I just can't be bothered watching another set of new housemates after a whole 10 week civ season. That being said I'm liking the rumoured housemates this year so I might make it through CBB16 without stopping watching halfway through.

CBB10 was a lot better than CBB12 (I didn't think much of this series at all and think it's generally overrated)
CBB14 is underrated though it has some classic moments but does have a few flaws granted

CBB10 and CBB12 were great IMO but CBB14 was dire post Frenchy

Eh it's been kinda mixed but the first was a bit of a shambles.
10 > 14 > 12 > 8 for me.

10 > 14 > 12 > 8
I don't even think 8 was that bad to be fair it wasn't exactly good but it wasn't awful

Aside from 8, I've genuinely enjoyed them all to some degree

I swear 14 is so overrated
I can't even remember the numbers of all of them.

I enjoyed 8 it was like watching a mad house or something but was far too cheesy. Was like that until Dowling left. I loved the cast on paper for CBB10 as even some of the Z-Listers I knew. CBB14 had a great eccentric cast too, underated.

The Frenchy weeks of CBB14 and CBB12 slayed me.

That's how I feel, I'm just looking forward to getting stuck into a brand new series and forgetting about the mess BB16 turned into.
I just hope it's a good series (consistently, rather than a good start and a rapid decline from then onwards).
As for whether they've improved ... the first summer CBB on C5 was CBB9 and none since has been as bad as that (IMO), so my answer is yes.
