Following on from ROB's idea on another thread, here's my input for today.
My ray of light came today when I finally put the finishing touches to the preparations for a particularly messy divorce hearing. When the huge parcel was finally delivered to the barrister, I sat down had a large cup of tea and actually saw the surface of my desk for the first time this week.
Also I am just about to go out with the 'girls' for a small drink down the local pub.:thumbs:

My good news today is that I have not smoked for three weeks now and I think I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am going to remaster my pc and hopefully if it works all will be well again in ROB's little world.
If not, it's been nice knowing you, and there's a glass of red wine waiting downstairs for me!!:hello::thumbs::hello:
Well my 4th row tickets to see Darius in Hammersmith arrived this morning, so I'm a very happy bunny.

Well done PPP, and whilst you are there, try not to become dissipated and in debt! I am sure it's not on the curriculum, but seemed to be de riguer for my sons.
Apparently Bournemouth isn't as respectable, dull and dedicated to Saga louts as we have been led to believe. Mr C seemed to have a blast there anyway!
SJ, well done on the PR course too! I have to say I prefer the use of the CAPITAL in this particular abbreviation, because, as a nurse, the letters pr almost had me reaching for the rubber gloves and the suppository!
I'll let you know any good news that comes my personal way as the day progresses..............

Ive got friends at Bournemouth uni and Ive already been to visit them so I know Bournemouth is cool!
But because Ive got mates there, I dont think I really wanna go there, coz the whole point of going to uni is to go somewhere new where you dont know anyone, so I probably wont go to Bournemouth, but I'm gonna have a look!

pr must be pretty common abbreviations used by a lot of people. As far as I'm concerned it means Parental Rights or Parental Responsibilities for unmarried fathers.
Any advances on what pr stands for??

I'm pleased to see that a pair of blue tits are interested in our bird box in the garden. We've been lucky to have "occupants" for the past two years - it would be nice to have them again for a third year. (I like my bird and wildlife, can you tell?!)

Back to the good news
Graeme's tests have all come back clear, so we've been told to put the pains down to being muscular skeletal (growing pains.)
The doctor thinks that the pains will just go of their own accord in time.
BTW, Graeme's grown another inch! He's now 5'8"

I just thought, animal rights issues and all that.
No-one agree?
:laugh::laugh:
Quote from the original article on the Sun Online:
WAKEY wakey, petal! Sleepy the baby dormouse curls up on a daffodil as spring-like weather slowly stirs him from his winter hibernation.
The dozy mite was placed on the flower by staff at the Secret World rescue centre near Taunton, Somerset.
They have been caring for Sleepy and his brother and sister Stretch and Yawn since they were found abandoned under a hedge last autumn.
So no animal cruelty involved, I'm happy to report.

Hi everyone, I'm glad to see that you are all okay! Congratulations to ROB!
As this is the good news thread I thought I would share mine! I have finally split up with my partner, who some of you may remember was a beep(!) to be when I was pregnant with our daughter (who is nearly 1). We have been seperated for a few months now & I have met a very nice young man who just happens to be my first ever boyf, back when I was 14! He is the complete opposite to my ex and it is going really well.
Sorry if there are loads of mistakes in this message but I cant see what I am typing as I have got the internet on digital tv and its rubbish!
