View Full Version : Sickening 'Birmingham bullies' video...
QJc33eyIUFU
Two teenage girls are beaten up and humiliated in a sickening bullying video filmed in Birmingham which has been widely shared across social media.
The clip, captured on a mobile phone, shows the two 14-year-olds being assaulted by bullies in Hilary Grove in the Northfield area of the city on Saturday night.
Police said the grainy footage, which was shared on Facebook, has been viewed more than six million times. They intend to arrest two females suspected of being behind the abuse.
In the unprovoked attack, a gang forces the two girls on to their knees to apologise for “giving dirty looks”, before one is shoved to the ground and assaulted, while their handbags are thrown into the middle of a busy road.
Police say the public response to the video has been overwhelming, with many people contacting them to identify the assailants.
Police have already spoken to two of the group involved, including the male youth who filmed the incident, and they plan to arrest two female offenders suspected of carrying out the attack.
“The response from members of the public, clearly disgusted by what they’ve seen online, has been overwhelming and we’ve had lots of people getting in touch to provide names of those responsible,” said Inspector John Askew from Birmingham South Police.
“We have identified the two main suspects and plans are in place for one of the girls, a 16-year-old, to attend a police station for questioning later today.
"We understand the other main suspect is out of the country on holiday but we will speak to her upon her return.
“I would like to reassure everyone this is being treated very seriously and that the enquiry is progressing. Under no circumstances should anyone take matters into their own hands as this could leave them liable to prosecution themselves.”
DS Dean Gordon, of Birmingham Police, said: “The violence shown against these two girls is completely unacceptable. We will not tolerate this kind of bullying and those involved will be brought to justice.”

I was gonna make a thread on this because everyone on the fb pages are saying she (the bully) is going onto CBB. I think it was a rumour starting and finishing inside of Facebook though, hopefully. She is an awful human and has defended herself since saying that the two girls were "giving her dirty looks" "i was defending myself" "i dont see what i did wrong" and "i'd do it again" shes grim

I saw this and actually had to turn it off...it made me so mad, at the girl who was bullying but also the ones filming. I hope they are taught a lesson by police but I kind of think that they won't.

...I think that the justice may be for her to get community service to work with victims of bullying and see the effects on them and their families...
...although the phone videoing/posting here has been a good thing, it's so sad that people will just stand around and video/laugh at these things...

Im very happy that it didn't go unnoticed. I wouldn't even know where to begin guessing the punishment the can give to a 16 year old girl for this type of thing but the Facebook page also said her court hearing was today and she was in custody since the moment she was charged, so we'll probably find out soon enough

Arresting her won't do any good it will only reinforce the bad girl image she desperately wants to give off.

These people are in and out of court on a monthly basis, it's just part of normal life. I wouldn't be assuming any positive outcome from the fact that she's been arrested and is in court. Probably isn't the first time and definitely won't be the last.

i hope she gets the **** beaten out of her, nasty little gob****e
hopefully karma does her one

..that's a good point Armand, which is why my thoughts were to possibly do some work with victims of bullying to maybe give her some empathy and understanding..?..

I saw 2 videos of it part 1 and 2 and it's literally disgusting what she did and filming it was also a pathetic thing to do! I didn't understand why her friend even filmed it to post online, where everything is shared on facebook/twitter/youtube. I would say it's giving Birmingham a bad name but this happens everywhere and it's sad things like this happens.

It's better than doing nothing about it, Getting Arrested effects loads of things such as getting a job(which would be hard for her to get one since the video went viral)

People bully because they want others to admire them and look up to them.
Being hauled into court wouldn't make a scrap of difference to these girls but the very visible public outrage may just turn things around for them. There is nothing a bully fears more than being hated.

This happens every day in every town in the UK, and a lot of the time, they don't give a stuff about the consequences. There is a huge chunk of society for whom the odd bit of jail time here and there is completely "the norm", and being employable is of limited importance because they operate almost entirely in the shadow economy.
I'm not saying this is definitely the case here, just that people need to be a little less naive, and realise that in general the sorts of people who will randomly assault another human being for no reason in the street is not going to be crying over a slap on the wrists from the courts. They don't give a ****.

Lol does this really seem like the type of girl who cares about a job? I'm not saying nothing should be done but resting here is only feeding her ego this seems like the kind of girl who would boast about getting arrested.

Human trash
Bullying in it's nastiest form :yuk:
..she behaved awfully/so did others and I'm not saying that she didn't or making any excuses for her behaviour but she's a child/16yrs old...is she just be written off as a 'bad un' because then surely she will be just exactly that, then ...people who bully don't feel any empathy/compassion for their victims, which is why they can do it but that's something that it's possible to change through them understanding what they do...
