We all know the real reason as to why Willam was disqualified was never revealed. At this point I believe this theory:
Willam was pissed that Shangy was getting gigs left right and centre so she decided that the only way to compete with the Halelloo sorceress was to get on the same show to get the same exposure.
Willam got into talks with producers about going on the show and I'm 99% sure that the producers were the ones who contacted her. They agreed that Willam would enter the race and that she wasn't there to win, she was there to be the 'Bad Girl'.
She entered the werkroom knowing full well she wasn't winning any crown, she was there to stir up ****. She also had other gigs (The Jersey Shorsical) booked so she kind of wanted her time at the race to be short and sweet.
In ep.2 she volunteered to LSFYL in the Princesses place but Ru just came back with "You're going off script". On the same episode I believe in the untucked lounge she stole something and told producers in an attempt to be kicked off at that point. They did nothing.
In the coming weeks she just broke a few rules like smoking weed, stealing, sneaking out of her room to get on the payphone and by Episode 8 she was really desperate to get her ass out of there because she had to get to the Shorsical.
At this point she told both producers and the other queens about her rule breaking (some things that other queens had done as well, Phi Phi had a phone and Kenya smoked weed to name a few things). So at this point producers couldn't really continue letting WIllam off because all the other queens had had it OFFICIALLY.
Willam was notified the day of the Frenemies elimination episode that she was being disqualified so she pigged out at the lunch break and then she drank Dida and Phi Phi's cocktails in the gold bar (why she threw up in the corset).
The visits from her husband story was made up by Willam and Producers as an excuse cause they weren't about to say that she was getting high and robbing RuPaul, they didn't wanna undermine production so they made up a lie that made everyone look good or at east not bad.
Lastly, I've read a few queens say that it was pretty clear to them from at least 1/2 way in that the game was rigged for Sharon.
Re: Latrice made note that during the Bitch Ball, almost everyone there believed that Sharon would be leaving that week because her first look "daytime realness" was literally just a sundress with a blonde wig, her second look, the "mary-kate" was literally just her own dirty laundry pulled out of a suitcase cause she had no drag left and her last look with the boots took her 8 hours to do while Chad, Phi Phi and Latrice had been working tirelessly and put in way more effort... hence why Latrice said she said Sharon should be eliminated that episode on the main stage. 3 out of the 4 queens believed that Phi Phi was going to win that one - although, from a viewer perspective, Sharon was my favorite of all. This also explains why Phi Phi was so furious with her afterward.
SO, from someone like Willam's perspective who has been on TV and understands production and narrative, I'm sure he'd rather be the bad bitch who got kicked off after winning a singing challenge than to be runner up to Sharon and Mother Dust.
Pretty much Willam was hired by WoW to be a bad girl but she took the job description a little too literal.
What do you think?
