He could have had money several times and declined, he could have got £5,000 like Chloe and Sam, he didn't even take it.
He could have pressed for the near £24,000 but he didn't.

He probably would have liked to win as anyone would who enters BB, however he never demonstrated at all that he wanted the money and never tried to get any of it either.

Everything.....and I mean EVERYTHING Joel did was with a game plan in mind.

When a situation occurred, you could almost SEE the cogs turning in his head to work out how this would come across and how he would be perceived.

Trust me - that was ALL part of his plan and he hoped it would get him the win. The fact that he got to Number 2 meant it ALMOST worked.

Common sense and good taste however prevailed.

It was odd to me too that all the other housemates friends and people their own age came on bots to support them during the series...all we saw was joels mother...does he not have any friends or if we did see them would we have got a better picture of the real joel and his cover wud have been blown. His mother didnt come across well at all...a desperado vibe from her. Another thing I foind odd...and maybe its just me...but in his opening slot at start of program he says he lives witg his parents and his pussy cat..who is white. Weird statement to make I think.
