While Emma has a lot of enthusiasm for the role and, I must admit, has gotten better over the years, Davina will ALWAYS be the Queen of BB.


And was I the only one who fully expected during one of the time bomb tasks when the legends came in that the main show would simply start with Davina standing there and she'd host the main show and NOTHING would be said, as if we'd gone back in time?



And THIS is why the current producers suck - because a fan, watching from Perth Western Australia can come up with a BETTER idea than they could have!

Its not a competition. Davina and Emma are both the right people for the Job.
Nostalgia and a better produced show all round will always make Davina look like queen she got to preside over the golden years but there is no better person for the job right now than Emma she is great at it.

I prefer Emma. I always thought Davina was a bit aloof and rehearsed and I was sick of her wearing black. Emma is fun has a fantastic sense of fashion and definitely more attractive and natural

Davina was just as if not more bias than Emma and I'll take Emma 's screeching over that awful panting thing Davina started in doing later seasons.

Some are fed up with Emma. I think most BB fans are fed up with the negative moaners of a perfectly good presenter..

As another poster said its not a competition between presenters. The program has evolved for better or worse and both Davina and Emma have and are brilliant presenters.

They can only work with what they are given to work with. As for presenter bias both Davina and Emma have had their bias moments simply because like the rest of us they are human.

Please stop this silly negative childish moaning. You know the saying you don't know how good something is until you have lost it.......Be thankful for what you have..........

What we need to remember is that Emma isn't a presenter, she's a person with her own opinions and views. Davina wasn't the angel without opinions. A lot of her interviews felt awkward and there was tension between her and Housemates she didn't like. Emma is doing the best she can with what she's given - and by that I don't think she's given a lot.

Agree with this. The live shows these days seem too rigid and Emma doesn't have much to do other than read the occasional awful pun. She's not terrible, I mean imagine if it was Rylan for example! But Davina will always be the queen!

She can't criticise the show, she is its on screen representative and its unfair on her to expect her to. However, she needs to be less biased . That is something that is completely in her control.

God its all so ugly. ...talk about betraying the hand that feeds ya... I love the show and for me it was brilliant this year because it gave us Marc. ...very few housemates with a sense of humour that can make me laugh like that....
But part of me hopes Emma says bollox to the lot of ya and ch 5 drop the show. ...none of yous deserve the effort that's put into it...Emma is great...as was Davina...you wont find a better person for the job....she must be so sick of the lot of ya

Emma can be crazy biased at times but on the whole she's ok and for sure the best we're going to get. We should be happy she's still with the show given that she's getting offers from the BBC now, as we all know who her replacement would be. :worry:

I'm not a big emma fan but it really doesn't bother me that she shows bias. To those who are bothered, why is it an issue? I'm just curious because I see a lot of criticism for her because of it. I don't think it means she's unprofessional. She's still doing her job, and I wouldn't want to watch a robotic interview thats the same for every housemate. And if we want a presenter to have personality, shouldn't we accept that personal opinions are going to be part of that? It doesn't mean you have to agree with her.

I'm currently watching CBB9 after 3 years without seeing Dowling's presenter skills.
He has got even more wooden than what I remembered :facepalm:
