I don't think any of them expected to win,being fair to them, except for Danny,he wasn't even ready to leave so sure he was of likely being there to the end.

The only smug one for me was in fact Danny,not any of the others who actually were very gracious and humble in their interviews.

Joel can take great pleasure in the fact he was runner up, he was the top male housemate, he beat every other male housemate and trounced the 4 in the final with him too.
The public on this occasion chose the only girl housemate to win and good luck to her as she was the only female housemate left standing anyway.

I hoped for Joel to win, I am very content with his 2nd place and the fact he is the most popular male housemate of this series.
The bigger bonus for me was also Danny not winning,that was the sweetest moment of the night for me.

For the first time ever I liked both of the top 2. Jade was my favourite from the start and once she left I had Joel down as winner. I liked his ways, his honesty, his maturity and found him hilarious at times. I also liked Chloe. She wasn't afraid to fight her corner, threw herself into tasks, was basically a friend to everyone and an all round nice girl without being bland or boring so I am happy that one of them one and one of them came second
