It didn't have any buzz to it or life in it.
5 minutes of the usual highlights then, you out you out you win.
A big part of it was probably because it wasn't a great set of finalists and very few people had the original/true favourite reach the final.
But even last years final felt quite exciting
I personally have not disliked this series as much as most people, but I do see that the producers are not trying to swipe it under the carpet and I think tht's the right thing to do.
I honesty do think BB17 will be different, but overall this year hasn't be that bad, but the final felt too rushed and dead

The voters kill their own show ...imagine if the final had been Eileen, Marc, Jade, Joel, Harriet and Kieren .....it would have been a riot, instead of the snore fest we've had....or your own combo of more lively house mates. ..?
A final with Marc, Harriet and Kieran in it would have been worse than what we were given

I noticed that they didn't give any of the 4 people evicted in the 4-in4-out 'twist' the opportunity to talk at all last night to save themselves the chance of being embarassed.
I was actually quite pleased that none of the 'Legendary' housemates were invited to the final. They were already given far too much airtime during this series!

MB sets Shaun on fire with a molotov
(I guess the final felt too much like a re-hash of last year's, what with the lack of ex-housemate parade, the minimal highlights, sixth and fifth place leaving together, fourth place making it further than anyone had expected and four varying-degrees-of-'eh' housemates leaving in a row to result in an all-girl top two)

They said they were going to do the all housemates walking down the aisle thing but cause of lightning they didn't, so just Emma and Chloe sat in the house. But even on BOTS none of the evicted HMs had a chance to give their opinion on the winner or anything.
I much refer civilan BB to celebrity BB, but it seems like the producers strongly disagree with me

Didn't even know the final was on until I randomly went through the planner.
NICE ADVERTISING.

They had to get Chloe back inside .....they couldn't arrange to have her asbo lifted in time so her electronic tag kept going off. ...Emma tried to finish the interview outside but it played havoc with the sound system

Take a page out of Big Brother Australia's book, their finales are epic. It's treated as must-see tv and it's not rushed, but then again they're logical and only put 2-3 people in the final.
Lostie!

It probably helps that they don't have to rush through six finalists, since they've never had more than three in the final. I'd much prefer less finalists, I don't think more than four is necessary tbh.
