He's alive when they dump him in the water, he attacks Helen.

Basically Helen, Julie, Barry and Ray never killed anyone, they guy they hit survived and instead of reporting them he killed his daughters (Suzy, she died in a car crash 1 year earlier that's why Ben was on the road) boyfriend David and dumped the body to make it look like an accident.

True, Sidney was the real villain and Billy was the hero in Scream anyway.

Scream is more iconic and has Billy though.

The 2nd movie was great, I thought. I liked the storyline. Brandy was great too. :love:

The first 2 are decent and enjoyable. But the third one is utter tripe. Has no relation to the first 2 and is just awful. It's a straight to DVD release, which says it all, IMO.

I really didn't like this movie. The main attraction for me with these movies is the mystery aspect, and the killer reveal is so underwhelming for me.

My favourite is Urban Legend (yes, even over Scream :hee:). I love Scream too though.

What I love about this original is how much I like the characters like I was rooting for most of them in the chase scenes and when Helen and the blond guy died I was kind of sad. The only person in scram that made me feel a bit sad when they died in the scream franchise is randy the rest no..

Well, the killer in Urban Legend is a hooded killer rather than masked (that gif I posted on your wall last night was from the movie) but yeah, same sort of thing. It's about a spree of murders on a college campus all based around various urban legends. It doesn't get a lot of love but I think it's really underappreciated. :)
