It's a shame actually that she needs to write that. You'd hope that anyone with common sense would know not to judge her on what her dad has done, and understand that yes, even people who aren't rich can save up for nice things. It really surprised me on the forums that some people were so vitriolic in attacking her. Hopefully by spelling it out for people (which she shouldn't have felt the need to do in the first place) it will open some people's eyes - and minds

Doesn't change the fact that I had weeks to make up my own mind about Chloe when I saw her in the house and didn't like her for a number of reasons. I still maintain that she is not the naive, silly little girl that she attempted to portray.

I've learned in the same class with the daughter of a prisoner, from the biggest bank theft ever known in my country's history, and she was one of the nicest of the class.

I disagree, someone could be untrustworthy and a coward but not be nasty. To me, nasty means cruel and unpleasant personally. A person could have a nice manner and be friendly whilst still being a coward and/or untrustworthy

I judged her on what I saw...that's what most of us judge her on. I am not interested on hearsay and her background story...none of us know the truth. She wasn't nasty..but she had unsavoury characteristics which I personally didn't like...those characteristics I saw whilst she was in the house. I saw her as untrustworthy because she didn't support those who supported her..people she liked because they had her back but then didn't support them when they needed it...ie Brian. She was a hypocrite with the money.
She wasn't nasty...Helen was Nasty.
She doesn't change my opinion with an article..well thought through and well versed.
