Rise of the Tomb Raider - Exclusive to Xbox for A YEAR

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming to PS4 and PC in 2016, Square Enix has revealed.

The sequel - which is a timed Xbox exclusive - will be a console exclusive for a year, coming to PS4 in late 2016.

Meanwhile, it'll come to PC sometime in spring 2016, a few months after Xbox One and Xbox 360's November 10 release date.

Last year developer Crystal Dynamics said Xbox exclusivity would "put Tomb Raider on top of action adventure gaming", with Xbox adding it would be for the good of the series.

The sequel will take players to multiple locations around the world, filled with exploration spaces that are described as some of the most beautifully hostile places on Earth.

The Tomb Raider reboot was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013, and saw a re-release on PS4 and Xbox One early last year.

I wont be buying it. I understand console exclusive titles but I think taking Tomb Raider away from Playstation was cruel to long time fans - after all Tomb Raider only became as big as it was after PS1 picked up the original title from sega.
