i know its only 9.30 when i post this but my god, this is such a bad show this year! Ive already given loads of money to it so far tonight but the show is so boring! everyones seems so stiff and nervous. even ant and dec were rubbish! the only higlight so far for me has been fame academy and only cos i was addicted. the french+saunders thing i was really looking forward to but it kind of fell flat in most places for me.

am looking forward to the michael jackson spoof though and ricky gervais. oh, and Hgh Grant slipping on the step was funny! but thats about it......so far......

I know what you mean, only the thing that put me off was the fame acadamy thing. God, pop idol and fame acadamy have to be in everything this year, when will something decent come on the telly it's ok if you like singing, but I hate it.:bawling: christ, last year was much better for docu soaps we had the Edwardian Country house for 1 and Survivor. I'm going out of my head with bordom this year.:bawling::conf: For god's sake bbc and itv get your acts together, not everyone wants to see kaeoke on the telly all the time.

Typical, well if Avids coming on or been on that must mean it's getting more adult orientatated and smutty. So I think I'll go and watch it now, because I've done enough posts for tonight.:dance:

Well I thoroughly enjoyed it, and wept at all the stories as I always do.

High points: jade wasn't in the studio

I cant believe they ALL failed their driving tests!
Such a shame as they were put through hell to do all that!:spin:

I really enjoyed Comic Relief night this year - the Eastenders sketch was brilliant. I'll never be able to look at Phil Mitchell in the same light again!

Only low spot for me was Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer - was that supposed to be funny? :conf:

I was amazed they all failed their driving tests - though Natalie Cassidy appeared to do really well. Both Nadia Sawalha and Paul O'Grady were fully expecting to fail but, when the penny dropped, poor wee Gareth looked gutted. :bawling:

I watched every minute of Comic Relief this year and I was made up they made so much money.

Some of the films were incredibly humbling, especially the one of the 70+ year old man who was so delighted to finally have a house he could call his own. It was a rickety shed that most of us wouldn't put a bike in!

So yes, it was great they got all that money and the films were excellent at making us think, but apart from the Eastenders sketch I don't remember much comedy in the whole thing!

Except maybe that girl and the monkey right at the end but enough said on that one

Yes, I saw that too, Janette. Bless him, it was the first time in his life he had ever had a proper floor or a bed to sleep in. The delight on his face was a joy to see.
