a mate mentioned this horror story to me,
not sure if this horror story has been discussed on here, she is hell bent on becoming the biggest serial killer ever

A female student at Kabarak University in Nakuru, Kenya has confessed she deliberately infected 324 people with HIV, according to the Kenyan Daily Post.

The girl, 19, whose name is unknown, says she has set her target for at least 2,000 men acting in revenge after she was infected by a man at a party.

The girl allegedly contacted Kenyan Scandals on Facebook and claimed she had something to confess.

After she was assured her identity was going to be protected (the Kenyan Daily Post, however, published a picture from her Facebook profile along with the article) she wrote: "Sep 22nd 2013 is a day I''ll never forget, we went clubbing in town and got drunk with some senior students then went back hostels for party round 2".

Firstly, the article says the facts are unsubstantiated and secondly even if she has slept with the number of people she says and she's not making it up (which is criminal in itself), you can have unprotected sex with someone who is HIV positive without contracting the virus so the chances are she won't have infected that many people. The chances of catching HIV from an infected female via normal vaginal intercourse is 1 in 1250.

So even if it is true, it's unlikely that she's infected anyone at all.

Sounds like she's just uneducated and believes that having HIV and sleeping with someone means that person will now definitely have HIV. Which is false. Like I said, the odds are 1250/1. To have infected 324 men she would have had to have slept with 405000. In 5 months.

That's 2700 a day. 112 an hour.

If she really DID sleep with one man every 30 seconds, 24 hours a day, for five months straight... she deserves some sort of medal to be honest. Or extensive reconstructive surgery on her genitals.

I'm not condoning her behaviour at all, merely pointing out that the claim is medically and statistically impossible. She's a scumbag for even trying to do it, if that helps? I'll throw in that she's stupid too, why not.

I'd guess that you've probably stumbled upon the truth of this whole story there Alex. Africa does have a very real HIV problem and they've been desperately trying to get people to use condoms more often for years, with limited success. This story is probably a complete fabrication with that purpose in mind. Scare African men into using condoms.
