I tried to mix the extremity of the public and the Forums responses to these contestants on top of my own opinions with these contestants.

Who are your top 10 most underrated Reality TV Contestants of all-time? It's gonna be harder for some of you who watch over Reality Shows that I've never seen I bet.:joker:

No it's the fact that I thought that they contributed to their series and that in Aaryn's case was being shown up by production to protect people like Gina Marie who was far worse in behaviour, I felt sorry for her.

And with Frankie he came off as panto to me.

I mean, whether or not Aaryn was serving as the scapegoat for other people's behavior, she still said an absurd amount of racially insensitive stuff and at the end of the day she's still just a racist blonde white girl with a huge sense of entitlement and not ability to empathize in others.

And I don't think Frankie was really all that panto! He is exactly as he appears -- ridiculously narcissistic, delusional and entitled, vaguely sociopathic, desperate for attention and approval, and entirely reliant on his sister's career for his own self-worth. He's the creepy, vapid shell of a human being in real life that he was on the show.

I felt sorry for her that the production was trying to cover up everybody else's racist/homophobic/incest comments but showed Aaryn's racist stuff.

I don't think they were really trying to cover it up because people like Andy and GinaMarie still got pretty negative edits in their own rights. Obviously the show could have shown more of other people's comments, but by that point the episodes would just become supercuts of racist remarks when there were other things that needed to be shown.

And none of this changes the fact that Aaryn's nothing more than a racist blonde white girl who is extremely entitled and lacks empathy. I don't think that her (rightfully) getting thrown under the bus by production makes her underrated or compelling or anything. She's a dime a dozen in this country.

He was scum really. Not only telling Jocasta to kill herself, he used a pity game to get himself further in the game. My grandfather died, think how that will make you look on the outside! Kitty Brucknell instantly came to mind when I saw the thread title. One of the most robbed X Factor contestants imo.

Rachel Adedeji, too. She was my favourite of that year, she deserved better than a Week 4 exit.

The worst for prejudiced behaviour imo was Gina Marie, and the way that she stalked Nick in those early weeks was car crash.

With Aaryn though I think we all was in shock because of what she looks like, racists normally are stereotyped as ugly bald headed or mohecan (however you spell that word) Lisa (BB10) types.

Tbh I think that Aaryn with Candice was also very jealous of her, hence why Aaryn always treated her the worst of the ethnics.

BBUSA has had Evel Dick putting Cigarette burns on another contestant, loads of other racist/homophobic slurs, and in that very series on Live Feed we had Jeremy saying that “if his Sister was a Model he'd **** her.”

Oh no, BBUS15 is definitely the season most littered with human garbage (which truly is an astounding feat on this show) but it was actually a compelling season for some time with the right people winning and being in control of things. It went to **** about halfway through but I'll take it any day over coma-inducing seasons like 12 and 16 and something that is infuriating from start to finish like 14.

Yeah Mock I would disagree with Aryan, Mock. If anything she's overrated as some people supported her despite all the horrible things she said, probably because she was a pretty blonde girl which 'made up for it'.

But on topic, this would be my top 10 most underrated reality tv contestants (well Big Brother mainly) as I don't watch much else reality TV.

1) Hira Shah - Had all the qualities of a potential winner yet was boo'ed on launch, basically for just being a strong-willed asian woman. Then got evicted in one of the most convoluted channel 4-style evictions. Also people call her boring when she was everything but boring in my opinion.

2) Rachel Adedeji - Was one of the best singers the show ever had, yet fell in the bottom two three times. Probably because she was an "aggressive looking black woman" because god forbid she didn't have long straight hair.

3) Sam Kay - Arguably the nicest person in Channel 5 BB yet was evicted because of an unfair twist and because everyone basically didn't acknowledge her existence in the house.

4) Willow Macdonald - Mainly just going of TiBB here, but like notoriously hated for being what, a nice girl? The first girl to have a lesbian showmance? For wanting to become more politically progressive in the house and opening up her views? Also for basically being entirely edited out of the show despite probably having the most intricate game in BBCAN3.

5) Kenny Brain - Again going off here but the hate he receives is so unfair, especially given the fact that he was doing what the show asks of you, playing the game.

6) 4th Impact - Were arguably the best group vocally that the show has ever had, yet people 'couldn't remember their names' because shocker, they were from the Philippines so they 'aren't relatable'!!! Or as Rita Ora said "not marketable" because she doesn't understand Asian fashion when it comes to girl groups.

7) Kevin Campbell - Really glad Pete mentioned him as I would've forgotten him otherwise, but he really gets no credit when he was the best player in BB11 and was just an all-round decent guy. Also fun fact, he's the only Japanese person to ever be in BBUK, Canada or USA.

8) Kathreya Kasisopa - Incredibly underrated and kind of hated for no reason if you ask me. But one of the sweetest women to ever be on BBUK.

9) Callum Knell - Creepy callum, Gollum, all these names he got thrown at him when really he had such a good storyline in the house. He battled with the 'be a lad' desires of society when really he was just a lovely soppy guy -- and that's OK. But he's a straight white male so of course the forum wasn't going to warm to him. And the public wouldn't warm to him because he defied the stereotypes of what is expected of a 'straight white male lad'.

10) Sam Evans - The funniest winner ever in my opinion and the most genuine one. Yet he got the 'boring' accusation over and over again and people online and on TiBB really demerit his win.

I cba ranking stuff but off the top of my head:

Jade Ellis (TXF) - her tone of voice was basically 'my thing' and even though I usually root for the "black girl that's sent home by week 5" she was just quite lovely and super-talented and should've gone further (see also: Kiera Weathers, Treyc Cohen & Rachel Adedeji)

In terms of BBUK I've probably peppered names everywhere but Lauren Carre would have to be my pick since she's never really mentioned in "queens of BB13" lists when Lydia/Deana usually are and she was just generally far less problematic/conceited than both and just one of my favourite people.

Celeb-editions I'd throw names about like Brigitte Nielsen, Terry Christian, Heidi Fleiss and Cleo Rocos. Not really mentioned now but seemed entertaining/big presences to me before I registered on the forum / was here but barely posting about CBB6/7.

And then for Drag Race... probably Jiggly Caliente? Seen as pretty much a joke figure because of her size and kinda simple personality but also pretty sharp and fun and a good person. Oh and Dida Ritz will always be my "fave who really shouldn't have been a fave" just for her Natalie Cole. And not from that season, hmm... Stacy Layne Matthews I think pretty much changed 'Snatch Game' single-handedly and made it the iconic segment it is today (because Raja's Tyra was pretty damn bad and 2004-blog-comedy 'fun'). And I'll always love Kennedy Davenport even if everyone else did not. And even if she sent home my fave. That Roar. Wow. :clap2:

well no ****, since only really 4th Impact were considered 'overrated'. (which seems to be the by-word here for "only marketable, completely ready act in the list of finalists")

Sunshine and Kitty's biggest crimes were that they were eccentric, which I think should be embraced rather than disparaged. Sunshine was nothing but nice to everyone (even when they didn't deserve it) and Kitty was one of the most exciting X Factor acts we've ever had imo.

And yeah, I never got the level of hatred levelled at Max either. I loved his voice and his quiet, sort of shy personality really endeared me to him.

You do know what overrated means right? none of those are really rated loads or even that popular well 4th Impact were topping the polls but not the votes.. just because you don't like the list doesn't mean they are overrated. Let others have opinions for god sakes.


Yes I know I say Brittnee is overrated etc but she's popular and was praised all season by loads, twitter/forums... yet people like Willow/Hira are praised by a few people like not a lot of people stan them.which makes them underrated for some people.
