Amber is overrated? I always thought she was underrated tbh, I loved her but I never got the impression she was particularly popular. I'd be happy to be wrong about that, though. :laugh:

She's not overrated to you because you like her. To those of us who find many of her "hilarious" moments contrived or dislike her nastier side, she absolutely is. Extremely so, in my opinion. I agree with "harrowing" though (the true definition of the word, anyway). :hee:

Gina Rio is another who I personally find to be insanely overrated. Unpleasant, snobby and prone to forced Diary Room performances. Should have left in Week 2 instead of Jemima tbh.

Jeff Schroeder from BBUS is a big one. He has a homophobic rant (which they cut completely from the main show) and CBS still treats him like BB royalty (and the tennyboppers who never saw the cut rant continue to worship him). I cringe everytime he's referred to as "fan favourite Jeff Schroeder".

Victor Ebuwa, Josie Gibson and Sophie Reade are other notable overrated BBUK contestants imo.

In terms of other shows, I found Rough Copy from The X Factor 2013 massively overrated. I wish the Week 7 sing-off went to Deadlock because then they'd have been eliminated instead of Hannah.

I know you said top 10 but this is the sort of thing where, once I start listing them I'd find it hard to stop so I'll leave it at the main ones that come to mind first. :laugh:

A couple of names off the top of my head:

Ozzy (Survivor): Self-righteous egotistical bully who ostracised anyone who wasn't pretty or popular. Terrible social game, too reliant on challenges, BOOTED THREE TIMES IN ONE SEASON and yet beloved.

Kaysar (BBUS): Nice enough bloke but hopeless at the game, yet once again made out to be a mastermind because he got rid of Cappy who was imploding anyway.

Jeff Schroeder (BBUS): Guy is basically the Rupert of BBUS in terms of popularity, yet was a self-righteous homeophobic bully who expected everyone to sacrifice their games for him.

Jocasta (BBUS): The girl is hailed on forums as one of the greatest things since sliced bread, yes she had quirky moments but was irrelevant and useless at the game (and not in an endearing way ala Victoria)

Zach Rance (BBUS): Some good moments but a massive try-hard

Naeha (BBCAN): SECOND BOOT OF THE SEASON. Yes she was screwed over with the instant noms but her bad play got her into that position in the first place.

Dan is overrated, but he certainly isn't as bad as what as bad as a lot of his detractors make him out to be. His big mistake is thinking too much about the 'show' and making flashy moves to make himself look better at the expense of the game (the funeral for example).
