Not here for Will.I.Am staying I find him very annoying and self absorbed. He seems to care about himself more than his acts and often favours one act over the others (Jaz in series 1, Leah in series 2 and more recently Lucy in this series)

Palma will be a good addition though I loved her voice and when she's been interviewed she seems very nice.

Wiki was just updated with the new judges and it said Fearne was the new presenter also :shrug: there's no news about the judges yet but we'll no later whether someone just edited and put Fearne in also or whether she's the new prestener.

I think it's likely she could be tbh. Emma has loads on all year round and Fearne isn't on anything rn plus she is clued up on music

2000 is 15 years ago though, also Boy Georges album atleast made the Top 40 in 2013 which was only 2 years ago and he was a legend in the 80's and he's got personality

I loved Kylie as a coach I found her really fun and she seemed to really care about her acts and worked her ass of for them! She's definitely the best female coach they've had so far (I didn't like Jessie and I thought Rita was good but not as good as Kylie)

I thought her singing Into the blue as her collaboration was a really selfish choice and she chose promoting her new single over helping her contestants, it didn't suit them at all.

Jessie was annoying but still had more personality than Kylie and I loved Rita

That new-look coaches panel for The Voice UK is causing all sorts of drama, with Sir Tom Jones now claiming that he was dropped with no warning.

Earlier today, the BBC announced that The Voice would be replacing new X Factor judge Rita Ora and Sir Tom Jones with Boy George and Paloma Faith next year.

Returning to the BBC One talent competition's judging panel will be veterans Ricky Wilson and will.i.am.

The announcement didn't sit well with original Voice UK coach Jones, who has claimed in a blog that he was only informed that he'd been dropped yesterday (August 13).

Jones wrote on Facebook: "About The Voice UK: In good faith, as part of the team, I'd put the time in my schedule to be involved in Series 5, as I've done s for the last 4 years. I've supported the show and the BBC since the beginning.

"I was told yesterday, with no consultation or conversation of any kind, that I would not be returning. Having been through plenty of transformations throughout the years, I support and admire creative change. But being informed, as a matter of duty and respect, is an important part of creative relationships.

"This sub-standard behaviour from the executives is very disappointing. I will always admire the courage of the performers who participate in the show, as well as all the production staff who worked tirelessly to make a great family viewing experience for the audience at home. I wish the show well."

Paloma & BG are great additions (although I do think she might've just been a brief "haha wasn't she funny?" moment on Buzzcocks that's been milked a bit ever since) but until will.i.am. and the charisma-vacuum Ricky go, and the actual show becomes remotely interesting / musically relevant, I'll be avoiding it again.

I would say I'm not watching now, but I wouldn't of watched regardless of who the judges were
I much prefer Strictly to X factor, but ITV wins for me in the Voice vs BGT (even though they don't overlap anymore but still)

It's a bad move, Tom was really popular on the show I thought. He is the only judge who could honestly be called a true icon.
