2005 was seriously an iconic year for reality TV. All of this happened in the same year:
8KYv0e1FXJU
dVLRAaTvTfg
XaH1l-mD478
(really tho, the whole of BBUK6 was iconic)
0qtjbJvY1r4
Bv2eCGgkEiE
29SuuEKztPc
Not to mention the Craig/Anthony mess, John McCririck, the numerous BBUK and FOL fights. All amazing series chock full of legendary television moments and contestants (getting New York and Makosi in the same year <3). It's a shame ten years later pretty much all reality TV shows (especially BBUK) can't reach these great heights any more.

The music in 2005 was good too (Rih started her career this year) but I think 2006-07 was better

Come to think of it, 2005 is my favourite year for BB. It's the same year both CBB3 and BB6 aired - my favourite CBB and BB series. 2006 was another fantastic year for BB, with both CBB4 and BB7. But 2005 >>>>>>
I wish the 2005 series had the same impact and hype the 2006 series had.

2004 was good, as well. But it felt weird with just one series of BB (BB5) and no CBB. But 2004 also had IAC3, and the launch of X Factor.

I can't believe 10 years ago we were being served CBB3, BB6, FOL1, BBUS6 etc. and now we're being served BB16 and similar **** ugh. Reality TV has declined so much :(

The problem with UK Reality TV Shows is that they think that the public want constant drama, even on shows like TXF which it doesn't suit as it's suppose to be about singing.
And with the American Reality Shows, they've probably just gone on too long so they're running out of ideas hence recycled ideas being brought forward.
I've been getting into Survivor lately anyway, started with Gabon, then China, and now I'm currently on Panama, and they're all a lot better than the **** Reality series we've been getting over the last 3 or 4 years.
Although China is the only one that seems like it had a solid final out of the three Survivor seasons that I've watched imo.

a) why do all of your posts post twice b) don't be silly the X Factor never was and never will be a singing show c) why do you bring up the X Factor so often

A: I can't answer as I don't know myself.
B: I'm just going off it's premise.
C: It's the one that goes away from it's premise the most so it's gonna get mentioned a lot in these threads off me.

2005 is tainted by the presence of Celebrity Love Island.
