Me neither, but despite whatever shortcomings people may think she has, she certainly has proven that she's a strong, respectable girl.
she doesnt want to walk, because she wants to leave the right wayx

Well seeing as you like Danielle it's ironic you've started a thread.
For her sake, yes.
For her fans sake, no,

No, you should never let a bully have the satisfaction of knowing they have won, whatever the circumstances.
If they continue to be nasty, she should give it to them back because it is unprovoked afterall.

What utter rubbish. She's a grown woman who can look after herself. She's not a little child who needs protecting from the big bad world.
FFS, some of the rubbish spouted about "poor Shilpa" is ridiculous. :bored:

No not at all, she's being strong and at the end of the day it's her that's gaining more fans and respect. Go Shilpa! :cheer:
Why should she walk? she hasn't done alot wrong that's what the bullies want, maybe bitchielle and Jade should walk that would make it better.

WTF kind of soppy crap question is that?? :cloud::bored:
Seriously, you get on like Shilpa should be given special treatment. 31 year old successful actress who's adored by millions of men in her home country. I'm sure she has had to deal with some **** in her time that is far and above anything Jade and Danielle can do.
Clearly she's learnt to deal with it by turning on the tears and hoping people feel sorry for her. And I'm sure that tactic has brought her plenty of success.

Umm, actress with 17 years experience. I think she's very capable of turning on the tears when she needs to.
And don't call me pathetic just cos I disagree with your obssesive love of Shilpa. I really liked her when she first went in but recently, she really disappoints me. :bored: This obssession with her by others is just too much at times.

What exactly do you mean by "someone like Shilpa"??
And again, I don't appreciate being called a div just cos you disagree with me.

Hmm, people keep the discussion to the housemates rather than other forum members. Or the thread would have to be closed.
My opinion on this...
Shilpa is being deliberately isolated, bitched about etc. by certain housemates because she is from a culture that is different to what these housemates are used to, and are ignorant of it.
Surely Shilpa is deserving of, at the very least, some sympathy for that reason?

I agree, that and the fact that she's dealing with it remarkably well.
She shouldn't walk at all, she's coping well, and should keep it up!

Never let bullys win! Stay as long as u can babe!
I hate to see what she has to endure in the house, but everyday she gets through it and maybe even gets stronger. No she shouldn't walk, its not her time to leave just yet

I'm just finding it harder and harder to believe that she's being genuine. She is constantly aware of her actions and how it appears to the public outside. She has been treated pretty badly by Jade and co but this outpouring of sympathy for her is too much. She isn't a child.
The whole reaction reminds me of a South Park episode featuring the nurse with the foetus on her head and what happened when the town found out about her. As usual South Park deliver a very subtle message but in their usual crude manner. I'm not gonna post how I think it applies to the whole "poor Shilpa" thing but if you've seen the episode you might catch on what I'm rambling about.

As far as I can see there hasn't been any great outpouring of emotion or melodrama from her.
She's kept her emotions about this pretty much bottled up, until the argument with Jade... but every person has his or her breaking point.
And I don't think that prior to coming on this show she was particularly familiar with Big Brother, and wouldn't know - like some of the British housemates will - the effect sympathy votes can have.

shilpa will crack first
She stays there because she does have friends in there, Cleo, Dirk, Ian and Jermaine all get on really well with her so it's not as if she is on her own whenever the others upset her.

i'm a fan of shilpa since 1995 , i 've watched all her interviews ,tv apparitions (always with her mum and her sister lol) etc... and that's the first time of my life i see her crying (except in some movies of course) and of course i feel very bad for her !
she is very respected in her country because she is genuine , nice , strong ,honest and she is always the first to protest her opinion when she is not agree with someone (politic , business ,aids, peta, etc..) ! and when she protests , she protests with class (not as jade who believes that to be heard it's necessary to howl )
i can swear that she is the same shilpa that i know since 12 years , the only difference is the shilpa i know is more jokky ,more funny ,more happy , but how can she be like that in this house ? nobody can be happy in an atmosphere like that ! i don't want her to go , this is her war over jade and danielle and she should win it with the same class and dignity that characterizes her

she should not walk off by any means.
why should they win,
And by win i mean getting rid of her, not win BB, which they clearly wont regardless.
I'm not really a fan but no one should have to walk off the show because of the way their being treated by others thats just not right and anyway i think Shilpa is stronger than people think despite the tears.
