I'm honestly sad and scared for Greece. The very beginnings of democracy have been warped and are now likely to destroy the country that created them.

Awful man, don't trust him. He broke his promise and did exactly what he campaigned against. I just hope that as a result of him, Greece doesn't vote in the far-right. It's really desperate times and we have no idea what they might turn to.
Tsipras is strange. He seems to constantly need reassurance; calling that referendum over the austerity terms earlier and now calling an election just after the bailout has been agreed. I expect he will stand again and use a victory to prove popular support for his actions but the whole uncertainty plunges Greece into some dangerous waters. Let's just hope we don't have some radical left splinter group sweep up a lot of votes and place the Greek recovery in danger again.
i think he is doing it to secure a further term at the best time, but it may back fire
