The psychologist has just claimed Shilpa is definitely not a fake, she scored lowest on manipulation tests, and lowest on makiavelian (sp?)tests.

Proves alot of people wrong on the things theyve been claiming.

I saw the end of it there and there were doing everything they possibly could to make Shilpa look bad, and responsible for what had happened in the house.

They had to skirt around the issue of just how disgusting these housemates are being. They knew they didnt have much to use without hanging Jade and her crew out to dry. Its sad.

Yeah, she was either a bit of an idiot or she was having words bellowed down her ear not to paint Jades crew in too bad a light or dont make Shilpa look too good.

The daft thing was, the majority of the audience had just shouted in agreement that Shilpa was a fake, so the poor cow doing the analysis had to sit infront of them all and explain that they didnt have a clue what they were on about.

I thought the same Mike, but I've always found the psychologist input on BB to be manipulated to affect the public opinion about different housemates. They've been doing it for years and people generally accept it more cos it's coming from someone who purports to be an expert in this area. I usually take the psychologist stuff with a pinch of salt, cos there's nearly always a hidden agenda behind what they're saying.

Because so many people are feeling sorry for Shilpa, I think last night's Big Brain was designed to show that can Shilpa can look after hersef. While she may have scored low on the manipulation tests, they kept emphasising what a strong and intelligent woman Shilpa is and how she could argue rings around Jade or Danielle if they were on their own which is why the gang up. They were trying to show that people shouldn't be feeling so sorry for her.

I think it was an exercise in damage control by Channel 4, considering all the complaints they've got about "poor Shilpa".

I remember Dermot was asked in an interview a while ago who his favourite BB housemate was. His answer? Jade Goody.

Here's a conspiracy theory for you... Jade Goody's agent is John Noel who is also the agent for Dermot, Davina and is very close to Endemol - he gets first refusal to manage BB housemates when the show is over.

The message of that Big Brain show was a very strange one to put out - 'if you are being bullied at school or work... it's your fault!'

I think the psychologists like to provide contrary opinions to the accepted wisdom - even if it is rubbish - because they want to prove that nothing should be taken at face-value.

Playing Devils advocate? I think youre right. Its common amongst TV presenters these days, youll see Matthew Wright do it on the Wright Stuff. He admits to it at the end though, which is what we arnt getting here.
