The last two years have been awful and I mean awful. Like you get the odd bad series here and there, but BB15 and BB16 were even worse. The current state of the show now is worse than how it was back in 2009 during CBB6 and BB10, when it was on C4.

It wasn't a dig at your beloved BB10, it's a fact that at the time (in 2009) the show felt tired on C4, viewing figures dropped even more, and the decline began to settle in and people lost interest, the same as what's happening now with C5 and Civvy BB.

No it didn't :umm2: BB10 had minimal interference, whereas now BB has loads of twists, outside information almost every day, it's nothing alike :umm2:

That wasn't my point. It's got nothing to do with that.

I'm saying that in 2009, during CBB6 and BB10 the show felt very tired. People lost interest. The show was decreasing in quality. Media stopped caring about it even more. Ratings dropped even more to an all time low of 2.5m or 3.3m in CBB6's case. That's why they axed it.

Whether or not the series were good in 2009 is debatable, but that wasn't the point I'm making.

That's what I was thinking. We all complain about it yet sit through it all and watch it for 10 weeks every night. It might not be a good Big Brother series but it's still a good series for TV

It's gone beyond "It's crap but it's still BB" for me now. It's so bad, I miss episodes for long periods without caring.

I hated BB8 and yet I sat through every episode of it. But CBB just gone in January and Timebomb, I just couldn't stick with all of them.

I think BB17 next year will either make or break BB, TBH.

If they manage to have 3 beyond awful series in a row, then it can just piss off, as far as I'm concerned.

If they cancelled the whole show i wouldn't be that sad like it'd be a shame but whatever. but if just just kept CBB and kept churning that out twice or even three times a year i'd tell them to get ****ed.
