I'm glad we have 12 housemates, tbh.

More than 12 is too much for a CBB, and ensures we're going to have many double evictions and a 6 way final, which I HATE.

Not to mention, with CBB twice a year, they really need to cut down on the amount of the celebrity housemates per series, as by the time 2018 comes, almost every celebrity will have done the show. CBB15 had 15, for crying out loud.

Can I just say, I'm really liking the CBB16 website. The colours are nicer, and much better than the dark, depressing Timebomb website with the brown and teal.

Although a 2 hour launch for 12 housemates is a long time considering BB16 only 15 HM in 90 mins and had house tour etc.

Maybe the twist is quite a long one then - a physical task?

CBB15 had 15 celebrities, which was far too many. Although they had a 5 way final which was good, they still had like 3 people who left through the back door and a double eviction, and secret eviction to dwindle the numbers down.

That means Farrah won't be entering considering there would be 3 girls from each side and from USA that would be Janice, Tila and Jenna .. Keeley will count as UK I think considering she was born there but lives in LA now.

In the past hasn't 12 profiles been the norm? I wouldn't read anything into it, with a 6 week series surely 12 is too little?

There are 16 sets of drawers and hangers. And while the beds are, as normal, a mix of singles and doubles, there is space for 16 snoozers. So while we don't know how many housemates there actually will be, there's at least room for 16. (Speaking of those beds, by the way, they're super comfortable. We totally get why some housemates end up spending all day napping.)(DS)

Considering it's rumoured to be about 5 weeks, I seriously doubt we'd only have 12

i think they do that every year, they certainly had it down as 12 on the site for the winter BB till launch night.
