the truth

We're born
we grow
we eat
were taught
we learn
were loved hopefully and we love
we hurt we cry we scream we laugh we search for ourselves
we sing we dance
we learn
we make friends, some that last
we find someone , we settle down
we work
we raise kids
is that what its all about? :conf:

Maybe we learn from our mistakes to help our future generations reach whatever the goal is suppose to be by us teaching them which paths to take on whatever it is that our purpose is suppose to be in life.

carrying a torch from the past to future generations?
Yes, and us learning from our mistakes helps those in the future to not make the same ones.

indeed and preventing these mistakes in the first place....much progress is regress and much regress is progress.....just because we discover something doesn't mean we have to let it take over the world

That the world has yet to learn.
..the meaning of life..?..I don't think there is a meaning of life, there's just experiencing it/being alive/living and feeling emotions..we only make a difference to the people we make a difference to/if we make any difference to anyone at all and then let them make a difference to ...well whoever...we touch and we're gone...our experience is over...

we are just a product of immense time, physics and chance
the fact that we are is what it is

As I've gotten older I've realised just how much we impact on each others lives so to have a fulfilling, positive experience then if we're talking existentialism I'd say to radiate and surround yourself with those who are essentially mindful.
If they are troubled try to help as best you can but beware the emotional vampire.

I'm born,
I'm alive,
I breathe,
In a moment or two I realize,
that the sphere upon which I reside,
is asleep on its feet.
Should I go back to sleep?
We orbit the sun,
I grow up,
my open eyes see...
A zombified, somnambulist society -
Leaving us as vitamins for the hibernating human animal.
Do you see what I mean?

I don't think there is a meaning or reason we have life, it just is.
So you may as well just enjoy urself however you want.

Yep, there is no meaning of life or afterlife so just enjoy yours, do your best to help those you love enjoy theirs, and try your best not to make anyone else's crappy. That's more or less it

In a nutshell
there is no particular reason that has become apparent yet. That's not to say there isn't one. Maybe at some point a big head will appear in the sky and tell us what we all should have been doing all these years

It's simple:
If you do not believe in God, then it's all about nothing.

That's not true at all. Life is what it's all about, the relationships and people and experiences we have
It's all about the money, money, money.
You have a lot of it and you rule, you have little of it and your a slave.

In my book, if there is no 'creator' and life is 'accidental', then there is no 'purpose' to life. Relationships, loves. and experiences are all PART of life, but within the context of the OP there is no purpose to life.

There's more to life than money, and money is not everything - at least that's what every rich person who I ever met has always assured me.

Life itself is the purpose. What is the purpose if there is a creator then?

There is no creator or at least there has never been any proof in the millions of years so far.
Although I do believe the teachings of Jesus Christ is a good thing, and should be taught in every school.
I'm not religious and history tells me there is nothing, but I don't know for sure so i wouldn't totally rule it out, I'll just have to wait and see when I snuff it.

Life is a gift giving you the opportunity to experience the world, love, friendship... all the things that make life worth living.
Or it could be that the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about.

Plot twist...
...I've looked at life from both sides now, from up and down and still somehow, it's life's illusions I recall..I really don't know life at all../true story...

Yes
But on the 2nd Earth
they feel things so much faster
thats why they are above our way of thinking,
We still need to send a
10 year old boy up to that 2nd Earth
it will take around 40 years to get there
so he will be a Fully Educated Man by the
time he arrives.
