When Danny's comments were exposed people wanted him ejected, but the majority of people now think Tila's ejection was unreasonable. So which is worse then?

Marc also made some awful comments outside the house too, did you see his tweets :worry:

As much as I like Tila and loathe Danny being rational her comments are MUCH worse

I doubt you can compare Danny being rude to women to being in favour of the Holocaust.

Helen said worse stuff in her two times and yet she was allowed to stay in and win. Jim said horrible stuff to offend many groups but was allowed to stay in. Shilpa-gate offended millions yet nothing was done about it. Michael Barrymore did an impression of Hitler as a comedy routine but he wasn't removed. So what is the T?

Obviously Tila's were worse...

I'm sure we could name many housemates from many series that have said far worse things tbf
Think piece: Hitler is this year's equivalent to Frank Bruno

To be fair this is Hitler we're talking about here  It's not on the same level as insulting fat people or whatever it was that Danny did, even though that's still not acceptable at all
Danny's a twat and I love Tila, but Tila's views were out of order and in no way comparable to what Danny said. She shouldn't have been ejected and it's pathetic that she was ejected, the production team HAD to know she said that
I doubt you can compare Danny being rude to women to being in favour of the Holocaust.

Jade Goody was removed and the pm of the time had to engage in diplomatic talks to try and assure people that the english were not racist.
Helen did not commit or endorse the genocide of millions of people.
Michael Barrymore didn't support or endorse Hitler or his views.

She insulted Danielle's Catholicism though and if said on a show with a larger viewer interest, she would have been kicked off
Ashley.

I'm impartial to this. I'm not SAYING Danny's comments were worse. Everyone was calling for Danny's ejection when they found out about his tweets, but think it's wrong that Tila was ejected, so I just wanted to know.
I've edited the title so you lot don't think I'm an ass who thinks calling someone fat is worse
Jade Goody was removed
No she wasn't.
Helen did not commit or endorse the genocide of millions of people.
I hear she's the head of the Bolton branch of the Pol Pot fan club.

Wasn't Jade evicted though? Just without a crowd?

Tony Blair literally stood up and said 'I don't watch the programme but racism is wrong' though?

Yeah... Fat shaming vs antisemitism and 6 million massacre.
I get confused a lot too.
So hard to choose.
I'm shocked by some of the comments in here. It's really disgusting.

She was evicted via public vote.

Don't be silly.
Helen did not commit or endorse the genocide of millions of people.
Michael Barrymore didn't support or endorse Hitler or his views.
But George Galloway was a Stalinist, who probably killed more than Hitler. Did it bother you him being in there?

That wouldn't matter. Pol Pot being a Communist who picked up many of his ideas from the likes of Jean Paul Sartre, can't have been that bad.
"I admired Mao Tse tung or Zedong, the greatest man of the twentieth century."
Tony Benn. On the biggest mass murderer of the 20th century.
I see the Campaign Against Antisemitism is very concerned about Jeremy Corbyn when it's not putting pressure on Channel 5 to eject Tila.

I explained why I made this thread in bold in the OP. I didn't mean to cause such an uproar.
I wasn't condoning Tila at all!

It really doesn't matter. There's no place for comparison in that case, not even suggesting such thing.
TV value never comes first, there are more important values to show and understand - and that's why her removal was necessary.
I'm sorry you all miss a sassy character such as Tila, but your momentary entertainment is less important.
The girl should learn her lesson, and I think some in here need to learn more and open history book and then shed a tear over her ejection if they still want to.
I obviously think condoning the holocaust is far worse than Dannys insults, but I don't think either of them should have been evicted. Unless a housemate comes out with something obnoxious on the show, it shouldn't make a difference. As people are saying, they must have known her views when they accepted her as a housemate, and if they didn't the researchers should be sacked.

Tila was a racist, Danny was homophobic. Her tweets were far more damaging and she needed to go.

Of course her comments were the worst but there is strong hypocrisy in the production team if they don't take action over comments made in the house but they will over something said in 2013 online? The point I was making was that Jim built his career on being homophobic and racist as well as insulting people with terminating illnesses and was allowed in. Plus Helen also insulted religious groups during her BB15 stint which was quickly forgotten because of her other tirade of comments.

this wasn't necessarily the production teams decision though. The biggest voice is always from those that fund the channel(s). All it needed was one of Viacoms sponsors to say ... not having that, and she is gone. I would say that was very likely to have happened.

I thought that Tila had potential to have been a good Housemate, but I agree with the OP that people can't complain about wanting Danny ejected, and then in the next breath moaning about Tila being ejected, and pretending that other Housemates have said worse than her, they really haven't.
Imo Tila should've been allowed to stay once she was cast, but I wouldn't have had her on in the first place if I knew that she had said these things.
