View Full Version : Why didn'y BB tell us the reasons for Tila being expelled ?

I suppose there may be valid legal reasons why they couldn't say why they booted her for things before House but surely if there were they would have told us "That for legal reasons we are unable to tell you"
Seems like due to embarrassment they wouldn't admit the reasons.
Surely we had a right to know given that they allowed a Nazi to get on the show.
I read one response, just in a list of responses somewhere,I didn't give the poster any credit to go and look at their reply on twitter, but one of them said
"That surely as it was something she did in the past that it should be forgotten"
We cannot allow anyone to get away with saying that they thought Hitler was great.
Nazis or any sympathy shown towards them or any sign of agreement with their ignorant views have to be stamped on at the earliest opportunity every time.We cannot allow them or Fascism to gain a foothold again given the horrors it leads to.
I wish all the idiots who generalise about everyone in the same group IE all Immigrants and ALL Muslims also knew this
and that immoral sites that allow them to post their bile while they delete people opposing them, who like me,believe in being tough, forcing them to be assessed but not allowing any Racism
and it is Racism because Racism is clearly defined as abuse against a whole group or race in the Dictionary
as is threats of violence against a whole group or race which have been allowed too online.
I wish they were stopped too.It is obvious that not all people in any group or race are all the same.
And BB really should have told us.

They have though
They questioned her beliefs and she refused to apologise or admit what she did wrong

She has apologised though and explained her state of mind back in 2013.
I still think its stupid that one opinion made 2 years ago is coming back to haunt someone who doesn't think these things anymore because her mental state has improved.

she never hurt anyone. if she had attacked jews in real life or something , then i could understand, but no one should be punished just for their words and ideas, they should only be punished for their actions. imho

yea and you guys have an unelected old woman as your head of state, and head of your national church, who's family were nazi supporters. so the laws are pretty hypocritical over there. what's your point?
yea and you guys have an unelected old woman as your head of state, that doesn't make it right.

I repeat my statement it is a crime to incite racial hatred in the UK. My point did not relate to the Royal family or anything else.

She isn't a nazi. You simply cannot compare her stupid comments/actions to the very real horrors of actual Nazism.
Please try and keep it in perspective.

I personally do think something needs to be done about nazi links in the royal family, I don't know how legitimate they are but it's wrong that they can do things like this when if it were a normal person they would probably be arrested.

· Tila is asked to the Diary Room and subsequently is removed from the house.
· The group are gathered on the sofas and told of Tila’s departure. They are told that Tila has been removed due to circumstances outside the house.
Looks like we won't see

Do you know the difference between incitement and free expression. Seems not.
They don't want to air her anti semitic views because it's extremely offensive

What's more offensive is the attack on free expression. A treasure we once used to have.
The mature fact of life is you cannot go through life without at some time being offended or offending.
That's the worth while price of freedom. Alas it is now lost.

Free expression is a right that must be used responsibly, the freedom of speech rights are not absolute and it's against the law to use the rights as a way of inciting racial hatred including hate crimes or words that are specifically made to cause harm to others.
