Reported on the : Keiser Report RTHD (in Florida for this edition)
today.

They may have been kept in a USA Aquarium
then dumped -- Stupidly -- in the sea.

They are from the Asia Waters
but in Florida, no fish can eat them.

The worse problem they have babies
in 10,0000 at a time
all grow to be killer fish

Darwinism was mention as gone wrong, again

Darwinism cannot "go wrong", it is a neutral concept.

Yes but it can 'go wrong' for us, which in this instance it has.

Humans have been self destructive for millennia, in terms of Darwinism we've always been screwed. We're constantly making the world worse for ourselves and will eventually wipe ourselves out. Compared to other things we've done and are doing, this fish-dumping blunder is pretty minor...

But in this Case
look what the Fools have done
Put a Asia Killer Fish
in the Florida water
every time it has babies another 10,000
new Killer Fish
Eating all local fish that goes
on sale in the seafood restaurants in Florida.

This is a man made mess

In in Asia waters they are
bigger fish that eat the Lionfish
But in Florida
nothing can east them
due to those deadly spikes

Yes but we are part of evolution. We're not "outside" of Darwinism somehow messing around with it... We're a crappy species doing stupid things, killing other things and ourselves and that's all part of the process. That IS Darwinism.

E.g. This is crap for us, and it's crap for the other fish, but it's bloody awesome if you happen to be a lion fish.

we should invent some kind of lion fish AIDS in a laboratory and give it to them. some kind of sexually transmitted disease so they can't reproduce any more.

Simple solution would be to concentrate our efforts in catching these huge lionfish and serving them up with chips.....

Those Spikes prevent safe handling

But surely they would be easy to catch in trawl nets as their spikes would easily get snagged in the nets...

That would just double the problem, you would then have the lion fish and the new fish eating the indigenous fish population :/

Does'nt Florida have this problem in general?I saw a show a few years ago which was about animal rescue in Miami.Iirc there's escaped Burmese pythons out there breeding in the wild and lizards because the climate is right for them and they're endangering the populations of native animals.

yes there very lax laws about foreign species have caused this problem. they wanted less laws and to trust the people, but people have let everyone down. now it's time for the government to step in.

something must be done.

i still think we need lionfish Aids and python Aids.

Biologists should know enough these days to be able to rectify the issue, whether that be controlling the killer fish population by natural or other means.

These things happen all the time, the most obvious example here was the red/grey squirrel problem. If we had the knowledge we have now at the time it happened, we would have been able to sort it out.

Donald Trump can take care of this fishy problem. he will build a wall and make the lion fish pay for it.

How? we can't sort it out now either we're no further on, nature is always one step ahead we just keep bumbling about making mistakes.

We know **** about ****! They would no more be able to stop the grey squirrels now than ever. They're the stronger species so they thrived, and that's what would always happen.
