theres no rating crisis.

Everything's been down 200k on last Summers.

while some of the cast are known, I think its a long stretch to declare any of them celebrities in the purest sense of the word. On that basis, its not living up to its own definition, so why would it attract an audience other than BB fans. I think that is reflected in the viewing figures.

900k is absolutely awful. I remember ratings in the 3millions in CBB15, let's hope this is only a blip where people were watching other things.

Most probably got distracted by x factor.

Friday is:

BBC One - Ripper Street
BBC Two - Great British Bake Off sister show
ITV - Piers Morgan Lifes Story
Channel 4 - 8 Out of 10 Does Countdown

They all get between 1-3M normally I think.

You need to also look at the percentages. And it was on at 10.30pm, not 9.

You make a "Ratings crisis" thread for every series.

This thread again? Really?

It's the first Saturday rating of the series - it was on a bank holiday weekend. It was on at a completely unfamiliar time. Oh and it's the 3rd episode. It's not a ratings crisis. Yet.

Ratings for Big Brother have been going down (with a couple of exceptions) steadily since 2007- so every series is likely to rate less than the last. This is not a ratings crisis! Big Brother will not last forever, so I say let's make the most of it and focus on enjoying the show rather than panicking about the fact that less people are watching it.
