I agree Ammi he did a lot for us horror fans. Nightmare on elm street and Scream franchises are two of my favourite horror series. I was thinking about watching hills have eyes yesterday as well, another movie he made.

I love Kruger, one of the best horror villains ever created, sure he became a bit of a joke as the movies went on, but I loved the campness of him. His one liners had me in stitches. I had no idea he was ill, in a way its best he passed on because he is no longer having to suffer with the pain, and 76 is a reasonable age to pass. Still very sad though
