View Full Version : Tila Tequila will either return to the house or sue the show
Pete.

She was abruptly evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother 2015 house just hours after entering it on Thursday when Channel 5 discovered she'd made pro-Nazi comments in the past.
However, the shamed glamour model is said to be negotiating a return to the reality series.
TMZ reports Tila, 33, is in talks with producers regarding the possibility of her re-entering the house which will give her a second chance at battling it out with her fellow famous housemates for the prize money.
The mother-of-one is also said to have delivered the show an ultimatum - she's reportedly threatening to sue producers if they don't allow her to return in order to claim her agreed £100,000 fee, according to the news site.
She has since apologised for her 'irresponsible, reckless, and selfish actions' in a statement released shortly after her premature departure on Friday.
However, she is said to believe that bosses planned the shock exit in a bid to boost ratings and her rep added to TMZ that a thorough background check - which they confirmed was carried out - would've uncovered the controversial comments as they are 'readily searchable'.
Tila has begged for forgiveness and a second chance after a photoshopped picture of her posing in front of Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz and comments in which she likened Adolf Hitler to a 'special and sweet kid' in 2013 came to light.
Speaking to The Sun On Sunday, she explained: 'I was doing a lot of drugs and suffering from severe depression. I wasn’t well in the head.'
The model added that she is desperate to return to the CBB house in a bid to mend her past wrongs, and believes she could even win.
She adds: 'I am healed now and I want to redeem my past. I want to win Celebrity Big Brother.'
Her plea reiterates a statement she released in the aftermath of her shock eviction in which she blamed her troubled past for her outrageous social media posts - and told fans: 'I am 100 percent not a Nazi.'

She tweeted on Friday: 'Back in 2013 I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person, and immediately realized soon after that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me.
'During that time I had been suffering from severe depression, and drug addiction for many years prior to that. I also attempted to commit suicide in 2012, and overdosed on prescription pills. I wanted to die. I felt worthless, and unloved as that pain continued to grow causing me to further spiral out of control.
'Losing touch of myself, and reality. It was absolutely the lowest point I had ever reached in my life, and today I am truly sorry to everyone that I may have hurt along my self-destructive path. I have made many mistakes that I am definitely not proud about, but I am only a flawed human who is trying my best to be a better person than I was in the past.
'I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, reckless, and selfish actions and I hope that everyone can forgive me for the pain that I may have caused. I want to be a good role model for my daughter because I don't want her to go through what I have had to endure.
'I hope that Celebrity Big Brother will give me a second chance.'

She definitely has grounds to sue, especially if the reports are true about them not paying her. The Nazi stuff wasn't exactly hidden and there isn't any doubt that the producers would have known before hand so to remove her and then refuse to pay her for something they already knew about before she went in is wrong.
The producers and their desperation for controversy are to blame for this whole situation. Competent producers wouldn't have put her in to begin with.

She'll be better off suing them, they have refused to pay her fee and since she could have been earning elsewhere she's lost out and frankly it's C5's fault for not checking her bqckground correctly.
Either way I don't think she did much wrong, she simply had an opinion not many share and if they'll let people like James, Jim and Dappy in with criminal pasts then I don't see why Tila is banished.

Even if she doesn't go back in, then C5 have a contractual duty to give her the full £100,000 fee.
C5 broke the contract.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!http://i.giflike.com/LUezO2r.gif
..I don't think that it would be good for her to go back in because of the reactions when she came out again, which I think would be awful so I wouldn't want her to...I still think it's odd and worrying that researchers/producers say that they didn't know something that was on her Wiki page and public information for even people who weren't aware of her as a celebrity..if they don't even check Wiki with any housemate then I doubt they would do things like psyche evaluations so really have no care for their housemates at all...
..I don't think it would be good for her to go back in but I do think that having put her in originally/made that choice, then they should have given her an opportunity to discuss her opinion....

I'm here for her being put back in, TBH. Even if she was ejected. Like 1.1m are watching this show, so it's not going to embarrass Endemol or something. Plus she was ejected for something she said outside the house two years ago, in probably the most undeserving ejection ever, whether you agree with what she said or not, she didn't do anything unacceptable in the house to warrant being removed for rule breaking.

She should not have been removed in the first place I agree with that she would have been an amazing housemate.
Maybe put her in in January but not now bring in someone new im here for Brandi Glanville.

No, she's the one of the most disgusting excuses to be titled a human being I have ever come across.
She's mess - not only by her horrendous Hitler campaign, but she's definitely (self confessed) unstable mentally and ill and this experience can just throw her further downhill. Take the Shabbaz factor, but push it to the limit - She wouldn't have passed the psychological exams if she had one as part of the recruit process.
C5 needs to get over themselves and pay her what was in the contract and move away - as much as I don't think she deserves a penny.
She may donate a percentage of it to a holocaust survivors/awareness related foundation if she really is "sorry" for her despicable behaviour - as far as I am concerned, she backed off and apologized just because it backfired on her and not because she truly made her homework regarding this case (as it can be expected from such a fame *****).

If they're refusing to pay her for something they knew about before she agreed to do the show then it will stand up in court and she would win the case. I imagine that Endemol will settle the matter out of court if it came down to it however.

It's appalling that Channel 5 let her enter the house and then removed her only 24 hours (or so) later. This should never have happened. But it did. For one of two reasons only. Either:
1. Channel 5 didn't do their background research on Tia properly before letting her in. In which case Tia is now paying the price for Channel 5's appalling laziness/incompetence.
- or -
2. Channel 5 already knew what Tia said in the past, but they let her enter the house anyway, knowing full well they were going to remove her soon after. In which case Tia is now paying the price as a result of Channel 5's cynical controversy-stirring manipulation.
So it's either a case of Channel 5's incompetence or Channel 5's cynical manipulation.
Either way Tia has a case to sue them.
I hope she does, for the benefit of future HMs and for the benefit of preventing potentially similar cases occurring in other TV shows. Despite her views being utterly disagreeable, they were not illegal and she should not have to suffer as a result of Channel 5's incompetence or deliberate manipulation.
