does she still have a feud with igloo?
Azaelia is conveying things wrong but her hearts in the right place. When Nicki complained about black discrimination in the music industry (a legitimate point) Miley dismissed it as Nicki making things about herself and to make matters worse Miley comes to the VMAs donning dreadlocks (aka cultural appropriation of a natural black hairstyle) whilst black celebs get routinely slated for it (like Zendaya a few months ago who donned dreadlocks and was labelled as a smelly druggie by the media - but white celebs get called edgy etc when they do it. This is fact; Kylie Jenner is another example). Nicki, Azealia, and many other black celebs are fed up of having their culture exploited by white celeritiee so they're understandably frustrated and gonna come out with these tweets. Focus on WHY they're saying these things - they're saying white people have no culture because they feel black culture is being exploited and stolen to make up for it. It's not because they're racist it's because they're FED UP. The fact that people will RUN to the opportunity to call out black celebs for 'racism' but didn't bat an eyelid when white celebs like Miley were donning dreadlocks, whilst black celeb Zendaya was slated for it, says a lot really. It just proves that there is solid basis to what Azealia and Nicki are fighting for, and indicates that a lot of people lack an integral level of education and empathy.

You can't say that. People hold different opinions. I'm tired of the reverse psychology, it doesn't matter what the situation was, it doesn't matter if "Miley did it first", Azalea said that black people are superior to white people and that in itself is a racist remark. Fight for your race by all means but do NOT belittle other races whilst doing it.
azealia is still mad that shes a flop

Azealia is clearly not an idiot and although i thought Nicki's rant was a mess she was still able to put across her views in that deem one race inferior to another. Imo some of Azealia's tweets are jut insane.

Talk about a false equivalency. Let me give you some info.
To be racist you require privilege and power, which white people (within our society) have whereas black/asian/jewish people do not.
Racism is not just “omg she called me a cracker”. It’s institutional and cultural oppressions that affect your life on a daily basis, not isolated instances.

I would love for you to go and live in downtown Baltimore and see how you're treated. You have no idea. Stop listening to everything the media and the internet tells you. I mean you're only what, 14? I can understand why you're so passionate about these things, but you have barely lived, you have barely experienced and of these things. Just because you don't hear about racism towards white people, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I realise that we will likely never agree on this, but just because white people may have not been 'oppressed' in the past, doesn't mean they cannot recieve racial hatred for being white. At the end of the day, racism by definition, is when you hate on anyone for their race. These double standards that people have are completely ridiculous and actually do more damage than good. Yes, I'll agree that Hollywood is racist, but it's also sexist, homophobic and ageist. The sooner people get over the idea that Hollywood is brilliant, the happier people will be.
I'm sorry, but I can't deal with a number of people on here acting like white people can't experience racism when they've not travelled to anywhere other than the UK. You have no idea what goes on in the world when you've only lived in one country. I have a friend who has moved to the states and she says she's never felt so unwelcome in her life. All because she's white. It's disgusting and it's wrong. Just because white people havent been 'oppressed' doesn't mean that they should be pushed to the side because' LOL WHITE PEOPLE' .

..is it ignoring though CeeCee or just how it's sometimes conveyed like Cal says in his post and as Niamh has said..the 'intentions are good' but maybe sometimes do more harm than good/type thing..and rather than provoke thoughts in people, maybe alienate their ears instead..?...

Sugar coat it how you want it is just not the same on both ends. Racism from white people stems from supremacy, if a black has issues against a white person it stems from anger. For example let's look at the movements black power/black lives matter is not about oppressing whites but it's about having the same rights and kkk is about oppressing anyone who is not like them.
Some black kid may make a white kids life hell but that kid can go that extra mile, work harder in school, wear that suit and late get a top earning job in the city by that black kid can work as hard as he wants, wear that suit but he will never get the top post in a city company. Another example-Nicky was trying to convey a message and miley dismisses it with nuh nuh nuh nuh basically at the vmas because she knows she can do what she wants and she will get praised . She can wear those dreads, twerk and she will get praised nobody will care about what the black girl had to say.

But why do blacks have to police their tones and each word when someone like trump can be publicly racist and people are voting for him to be president? This is what I am saying. Different rules for blacks.
Oh we're not going to listen to your point you're angry( basically what miley said about Nicky) meanwhile being a little rascal herself. A lot of white people get oh he's an absolute **** but he has a point but not the same for blacks. Pft.

...but it's not about policing though, I don't think..it's more about a message that she wants people to listen to..?..and it ffels more like a 'celeb bashing/Twitter' thing so that's not really the way..?..and also she's doing exactly the same as what she accuses Miley of surely...'white people have no culture so stealing black culture'...so a 'superiority' really and yet that's what she's speaking up against/I need time to get my thoughts around this.....but atm, that's how it seems anyway...

That message has been trying to get through many times and people always find an excuse not to listen and I knew people would pick on her using the word 'superiority' to dismiss everything she's saying .

So in your opinion when does anger towards white people become as unacceptable as racism? Ranging from insulting tweets to being shot dead on live tv

...maybe some people don't but some people do and that's where it shouldn't be a 'black v white' thing because it can't be generalised like that...I mean so far as the music industry is concerned..the black culture has always had a huge impact with soul, jazz, R&B etc...and it's some thing that's often been 'copied' by white artists as well, I mean always but in a positive/compliment way..saying, that artist/sound/tune is great etc ..not always in a negative way like a 'stealing of culture'...

Ammi sorry but nope! Who is constantly named the best rapper of all time? Eminen. Google king of rock n roll who shows up? Elvis. The list goes on. I read messages like ******* shouldn't listen to rock n roll. When I went to download the looks I was getting-uh. When murder becomes a mass, continuous, consensual means of handling things by majority of blacks. It has not reached that point yet and hopefully never will.

..yeah I recall you saying about Download, that is odd, the looks you were getting but there again..by how many people though/of the thousands that were there ..?...ok, just one site I know but in googling the top 20 R&B singers of all time, 19 of them are black artists and only one (Mariah Carey) isn't...yeah it did say about Eminem but maybe the most commercially successful..?...I'm not disagreeing with you CeeCee, just trying to get my head/thoughts around it and it doesn't seem that 'clear cut' ...

Sometimes it just is though, Ammi. The real way to view this is trying to identify where Bank's anger comes from. Like when people try so hard to find out the root of a white man's murderous streak instead of focusing on 2-3 trigger words.

..yeah sometimes though, I think that's the thing because sometimes it's not as well but if it's thought 'all of the time' or in cases where it doesn't apply, see isn't that were it can lose validity as well which is a shame ..I do see where her anger and frustration comes from but is it that it's always appropriate/the direction of it...or is sometimes she wrong and it's misplaced..?..that's the thing really...and it's also how she puts her points across sometimes I think that's in danger of alienating and her points get lost in that obviously and they shouldn't get lost so I think that's something that she needs to think about in her passion...
...hmm, I've just been thinking about the 'killer' thing..?..I never agree with focus being put on serial killers anyway, but would much rather hear the stories of victims/but that's media etc...but thinking about it...I was thinking of the Batman killer...James Holmes, Anders Behring Breivik/Norway killer, Andreas Lubitz, the German co pilot...obviously that's just a few more recent ones...but I couldn't off the top of my head think of a black serial killer..I mean I'm sure there are some but maybe these profiles seem to be more because there are more white serial killers or have been more recently..?.../I'll have to research this a bit....
