Thanks for the link - please make the mods life easier and don't post thread titles in capitials. It makes the place look a mess. Thanks Red

Says a lot for the state of the British political system if they are discussing BB in the Commons...

Especially as the attempted terrorist attacks on trial as we speak should be focusing their minds on a much bigger picture?

racism remarks aren't tolerated in football, becuase they were discussed in HoC and made illegal in football.

It definately shouldn't be allowed on a TV show which has a wider audience.

Jade looks like such an overweight pig in the cover

Donkeylegs. I agree with you. Bullying should NOT be tolerted on TV, the medium is massieve and reaches out to millions of people

Keith Vaz was the MP who raised in the Commons with an Early Day Motion. If I recall correctly, I think he admitted he hasn't seen any of BB himself but is responding to complaints he recieved from his constituents.

Basically it's a vote winner for him to raise it in the Commons, the people who complained to him are also the people who vote him into office. So it's not surprising that he brought it up in parliament. To me it still seems an incredible overreaction from people, but I have no bad feelings towards Vaz as he is only representing the interests of his constituents. It's his overreacting constituents that I have the most pity for :bored:

I think what ppl have to remember about the media , especially newspapers, is that they can't really be trusted, they will twist things to make it seem a certain way... it is about money and the paper really do not give a damn about the fact that it may be racist or not, but they know if they put the words 'racist' on the front of their cover, it will catch ppl's eye, they will be shocked and they will buy it, their aim is not to tell the truth it is to make a good story to get more money.
