Even though it's a VTS the public will vote patriotically unfortunately, I fully expect another American out on Tuesday

I presume they do considering everytime Emma speaks to the house she says "For the last __ days, the British public have been voting to save and I can now reveal..."

They are probably told before they go in the house too. They are effectively paid to entertain, so being told it's vote to save pushes them to be more loud and boisterous, to cause arguments, get in the limelight and end up being saved, while also entertaining us lot at home.
