BB17 first watch

Okay so I thought I'd watch BB17 while it's still on and hopefully I can just about get up to date before the winner is announced. If not hey ho I'll try and avoid spoilers but obviously if the winners revealed to me I won't be that bothered because I have started at a ridiculously late stage :laugh2:

My initial thoughts and rankings are as follows:

Premiere 1 and Premiere 2 rankings:

Definitely the best premiere of any BBUS seasons I've seen. BB14's was awful from want I remember with Jodi being sent home straight away and BB16's was okay but wasn't great. I am really liking Da'Vonne so far she's hilarious and her diary room moments have me dying :laugh2: Liz is amazing also I think she definitely will be one of my favourites. Both Jason and James winning HOH is a good result I suppose i like them both so far so I didn't see what could go wrong as they've promised my favourite Da'Vonne safety and Jason promised Jackie safety also. I just hope one of them don't put Liz or Audrey up :fc: I enjoyed the BB takeover twist with Jeff and Jackie. Jeff didn't make that much of an impression but he seems nice enough so far I suppose :shrug: Jackie seems great though! I wonder what Vanessa and Da'Vonnes prize will be for sitting out :suspect:

I felt the nomination picks from Jason and James were actually super smart. They weighed up all their actions and picked perfect pawns the only thing I'd have maybe done is nominate Jeff because he'd have been a good excuse of a pawn and people could believe he was a target because of his and Jackie's relationship. Mama Da'Vonne picked well in Liz but like Shelli I sort of didn't understand why her picking Shelli or Audrey over Liz would've made their alliance obvious but it's a good opportunity for Day to make a new alliance I guess with Liz. BotB is something I really didn't like when I tried to get into BB16 but I actually don't mind the idea of it as much this season but I still think it's a pretty crap idea. I couldn't who've cared less who won because at the moment I'm neither liking Becky or Steve. And their pawns anyway in a an idea to backdoor Jace so it didn't matter. (Jace was also supper annoying this episode with the whole 'BRO' thing with Austin). I don't like Becky because her reaction to being nominated when she'd been told she could've been a pawn anyway was super OTT and Steve because I find him very annoying and quite snappy. I hope the Da'Vonne/Audrey/James/Jason alliance becomes a thing :flutter:

Not Mama Day getting upset :sad: She was so on point and right about Jeff though 'Why are you in my room?' when it's not his room! He's a houseguest just like her and then getting cocky later pretending it wasn't Clay and Shelli who had told him about Da'Vonne going in the bedroom. Clay was equally annoying also lying through his teeth but Day has both their numbers and most people in the house too. Audrey getting Jeff and Shelli into her allian annoyed me and leaving Da'Vonne out the meeting :suspect: She better not become the member of the alliance who is the first one thrown under the bus. I really like the have not room they have in the U.S. that's one hing I prefer to BBCan. I like how they have themes and go all out with them :D. Seems like the plan to backdoor Jace is firmly ready in action which I'm happy about because he was getting REALLY frustrating.

I love all three of them so far. Just really great and interesting people to watch. Becky is better than I thought she was originally she gives me an Allison BBCan2 vibe were she's lovely but sort of useless. Clay is crap so far

I'm quite happy Jace has gone even though he was bringing dramz and I was hoping for a rivalry between him and Audrey what could channel the iconic Sabrina and Adel relationship hopefully. He just had way too big of a mouth and couldn't keep it shut much like Audrey which I can unfortunately see might be Audrey's downfall if she doesn't stop soon. His speech at eviction was :o just telling everyone about the alliances and trusts he had made I was surprised by that. I never suspected Liz as the twin! Then again I never suspected anyone I just didn't have one single idea who it could be. I'm really liking both her and Julia and I hope they can both fly under the radar hopefully so Julia can enter the game as her own player later on. Becky and Shelli winning the HOH's is an OKAY result at best. It could be worse I guess though. I'm excited for Queen Kathy Griffin taking her reign and having the housemates whipped to answer the phone.

Becky is actually amazing :love: I've grown to love her this episode. Her being able to make fun of herself and have a laugh after being hit by a TRAIN just shows how laid back and nice she actually is. It must have been a HORRIBLE experience I can't even imagine. Audrey :nono: Telling Vanessa that Day has been telling the other HG's that she is in all girls alliance was such a nasty sly little move to make so I'm glad it blew up in her face. I wish John hadn't thrown the BotB and I can't believe Clay got in Shelli's ear and orchestrated the plan to throw Da'Vonne out. She seemed okay with throwing Audrey under the bus at first but now Mama Day looks like she could be the one who's tossed under the bus. Hopefully Kathy Griffin can work wonders and get her to answer the phone call which allows her to take away three HG's votes if Day doesn't win POV.

Audrey's goodbye message and Da'Vonnes reaction had me cackling I just find it funny how they went from being BFF's to wanting to strangle each other in the space of a week. Da'Vonne sniffing out the twins <3 She just was so smart like she could tell all the differences. I think she made such a bad move though in telling about nine people about it she should have just kept it between her and Jason. This HOH isn't that bad tbh I don't like Austin at all but I think the plan put together is quite good and it keeps my favourites in. Just hopefully they do end up backdooring Jeff instead of getting rid of James. Vanessa really shone this episode :love: the first episode I've been fully able to grasp her and her ideas and I'm glad she just didn't play it safe and go with the house and plan to evict Audrey. I find people who play the game like that boring and half the time they're usually the types who say 'I CANT WAIT TO MAKE SOME BIG MOVES'. Austin throwing the POV at the last minute was a stupid move on his behalf as I think this will cause Vanessa to distrust him which I'm glad about because I find Austin REALLY annoying. It may be a good way in keeping James though as I can't really see anyone throwing Jeff a life line and I think James has more to offer. Jason and Meg have me howling I love both of them so I'm glad Meg got the cruise with Gronk :love:

Jeff going could've been worse I guess but he was really growing on me. He was funny and I liked how he was spilliting up the growing Austin/Liz showmance. I can't abide Austin he's hella protective of Liz and it's creepy as ****. I mean just let the girl have conversations with other people jeez :umm2: Jackie is great and I hated how Julie Chen basically shaded her like three times during Jeff's interview. She was so rude I much prefer Arisa on BBCan. Shelli and Liz winning HOH :love: both great HG's but I want Liz to stay in power just because Shelli has been HOH once already and Liz is my second favourite HG overall.

I love Jackie so much! I'm so glad her and James won BotB :love: Both are great and I can't wait to see more of them. This is my favourite episode so far. There was so much going on and I really liked it. I felt really sorry for Audrey though because obviously this is her dream and it's just blown up in her face and it's obviously weighing down hard on her, she has brought it on herself though to a certain extent. She shouldn't have told James what that she'd get Shelli and Clay out because it was bound to blow up in her face with Shelli as HOH and James gunning for her :facepalm: The POV is one of my favourite POV's I've ever seen it was great with the chemicals being mixed and I'm glad Vanessa win it and assured Jason's safety :love: The whackstreet boys are also great :joker: Jackie is so lovely though being the only one willing to go and watch them at 7am in the morning. Clay is just an arsehole making Audrey feel the way she did and saying he was happy about it :bored:

Audrey </3 Just as I was starting to like her again. The house will be so boring without her and all the drama she brings. I really loved her speech also at the eviction 'A lot of you have wanted me out for a long time for your game so you know merry ****ing Christmas!' :lovedup:. Such a queen! Really liked her interview also with Julie! James is such a sweetheart my heart legit melted when he walked into the have not room with the omelette he made for her. I just want to cuddle James he's that cute <3 I really didn't like Austin again this episode how he basically made fun of Audrey and thought it was funny and called her when it was clear she was already feeling down. I'm so glad Jackies won HOH <3 I REALLY hope she stays in power over Vanessa just because I don't want sixth sense running the game constantly.

I AM FURIOUS!!!!!! /chanelle. I really wish Vanessa would've gone down the path of putting Austin up instead of Jason because now him and 'JUDAS' *does creepy voice to try and sound amusing and be liked* will be staying around for a while. If I didn't already know that Austin was staying I would've 100% thought he would've gone this week and I'm really surprised at the sudden flip and change of heart from Vanessa. Meg crying at the end broke my heart I'm going to miss her and Jason's iconic cute friendship tbh </3. I've gone off Liz because I just thought it was really pathetic how she was insisting and stropping over wanting Austin staying in the house, she said she didn't like him but she clearly does if she was behaving like that at the idea of him being nominated. He's such a creep with her also like eww. Steve's irrational hate of Becky wtf? She's lovely and quite frankly 10 times better than! I can't believe he gets so much air time!!!! The producers lap him and John up so much!

I think Liz was unnecessarily nasty in her goodbye message to Jason saying 'Have fun watching from your mom's basement' with a dirty smirk on her face. I mean yeah I get they didn't get along I didn't expect her to be like 'I will miss you <3' but that was just really nasty and uncalled for. Shelli and Clay seem to be outsiders now in the house as neither Vanessa or the others seem to trust them anymore. Ewww at the five minute segment on John though and his family like 'This is a whole different side of John' bye nobody cares. I'm hoping one of James/Jackie/Meg pull this HOH out the bag <3 Endurance HOH's are my fave <3

James of household :lovedup: I'm loving his Meg's and Jackies friendship it's so cute and they're all so different but get along so well <3 I'm glad the power has shifted to the other side of the house for a change instead of the sixth sense just dominating which they have done for the last fourth evictions so a change in the game is nice and has helped mix things up. I'm glad James didn't keep his word and decided to get blood on his hands, they did it to Jason so why shouldn't he do it them? Is it one rule for them and another rule for everybody else? Julia throwing shade at Austin and making him squirm and stutter sitting on the bed was HILARIOUS! Much prefer her to Liz. Nessa make them deals with James hunni <3 Vanessa along with Julia is the only one out of the sixth sense who I actually really like (I do like Shelli but she can be annoying). The clips of Clay mumbling had he howling he really does need to get elocution classes or something
