Farrah but it's probably just in the heat of the moment cause I hate her so much right now, but I still think Farrah overall she seems fake nasty just putting it on for attention which bugs me like Helen was just being her vile self

TBH they're both complete Thunderc**nts but I'd say |Helen. Got to give Farrah the benefit of the doubt ., She's reality TV veteran and knows what the audience want to see, Helen IMO is actually like the way she acted in both BB's

Farrah just spews out rubbish as a defence mechanism, Helen insults people with the intent of hurting them in the process. So Helen is much worse.

Helen by far.
Farrah is like a hurricane when she gets mad leaving all the emotional carnage in her wake. I like what Ashley said; Farrah just spews out rubbish as a defense mechanism.
Helen is a bully and will target random people she has an issue with, with the sole intention of hurting them.

Farrah is worse because she does it on purpose, to deliberately upset people, she is a human troll.
The only reason Helen is winning this poll is because people are vindictive about the fact that she won/got to the final.

Not pressed at all about her going to the final, Helen has ruined both seasons she was in whilst in the house and has done nothing but bully people and suck all fun out of the house. Farrah is no where near as dominating and doesn't have much of a role in the dynamics.
Farrah is so much worse, Helen does it as part of a character like Hopkins does, Farrah is just genuinly vile.
Helen is genuinely vile too, she was quite happy bullying people like Jale and Christopher before she realised she was hated, also she was despicable towards Brian and was genuinely hateful and full of anger.

Errrr... Farrah is miles worse. There is no comparison.
Helen has loads of good sides to her, she's laughs at herself, she's funny, sharp-witted, sympathetic (how she cried over Chris's depression story), she's loyal, she's supportive and listens attentively when people are down and come to her, she's quite maternal, she throws herself into tasks, she shows herself for who she is - warts and all, is not afraid to show her true feelings, she apologises when she's wrong, shows self-reflection and calm analysis and sorts things out with people in the end - think her and Ashleigh hugging on the sofa at the end of their series.
Farrah does none of that. No reflection, no warmth, no humour, no joy or regret from Farrah. And Farrah LOVES hurting people FAR more than Helen. Helen's a firework but Farrah's a snake.
And where Helen SHOWS her humanity (even at her own expense), Farrah HIDES her humanity to remain aloof and controlling for personal gain.
Give me a billion Helens over one Farrah all day long.

The thing with Farrah is that she is cray cray to the max and her behavior is embarrassing. But she does come across at times as someone who is deeply hurting. When she is in her rage sprouting off nonscence, at times she does seem like she is just so broken underneath it all and is sort of lashing out in a way. Not an excuse for her actions but I know from her past history she hasn't had it easy. Again no excuse and everyone has had bad things happen to them! The father of her child died when she was pregnant with her daughter and it was reported that she's been attacked by guys on multiple occasions. She just seems like a very broken and disturbed girl who really needs help. Maybe a cry for help. She is the poster child for a girl with 'daddy issues'.

totally different - Helen was a so called worker and had first had exspoerience of what she was dealing with where as Farrah has built up this reputation via a tv show and twitnit faceboof thing. Helen was real - Farrah is fake.

Of course there is no REAL comparison between Helen and the REAL villains - Farrah/Conor/Perez etc.
Conor would NEVER EVER have won, had the public got to vote for him.
Perez DID reach the final but came a rubbish 6th out of 6!
Farrah also would NEVER EVER win (if she even reaches the final).
Helen, however, DID win !! She won !! That's the difference !!
If she really was as bad as Farrah/Conor/Perez then she NEVER would have won. People just wouldn't have voted for her. But they did. Thousands of them. And she won.
The only thing about Helen is that the people who hate her - they really hate her and they can't believe (or even accept sometimes) that other people don't hate her as much as they do. But that is only a minority. Everyone else kind of likes her. Hence she won.
I never get tired of reminding people that - Helen is a BB winner. The reason being she offers a whole range of humanity and humour that the other BB 'villains' just don't have.
Beyond opinion about Helen vs Farrah/Conor/etc, the results speak for themselves.
Niamh.
08-09-2015, 10:44 AM
There is no results speaking for themselves when it comes to Conor because he choose to leave, he wasn't evicted and had Helen not had her final pass and "redemption story" she would have gone long long before the final. Also, the Helen V's Ashleigh thing, made people choose a side rather than a winner imo
Tarryn
08-09-2015, 10:45 AM
For me the two difference's between Helen & Farrah is that Helen knew when to walk away from an argument (mainly to go bitch about them in the garden) plus Helen knew when to pick her arguments, often going for the weakest link but Farrah does not give a **** who she goes for.
Farrah is just a stupid immature girl.

And when it came to the final last year, of ALL the final HMs - the public chose Helen as their winner.
That would never have happened with Conor, Perez or Farrah.
Like i say, some Helen-haters find it hard to accept that other people aren't Helen-haters and that loads of people actually do like her, enough for her to win.

I'm sure we can discuss this without doing the whole "some Helen haters" bit. I'm well aware that some people liked her. I'm just discussing the circumstances leading up to her winning. They weren't the normal set of circumstances a HM has to get to the point of winning. She didn't make it to the final on her own merits and if she'd not had that pass, she would have been gone a long time before that, I think that's pretty much a definite
Helen is just evil. Farrah is a product of reality TV from a young and impressionable age.

Yeah i get that, i don't mean to be personal about yourself being a Helen-hater like that, so i'm sorry if it came across that way. It just feels like a blanket all out dismissal of Helen from lots of people sometimes, so i'm sorry if i put you wrongly in that bracket.
And yeah you are right, she'd probably never have made it to the final were it not for the pass. But still she pulled off the win, something the real villains - Conor/Perez/Farrah would never have managed.
The only other BB villain who came close to the Helen effect was Speidi, who again mixed their villainy with humanity and humour, hence they came a close 2nd to Rylan (who was destined to win from the start).

For me I see the likes of Perez, Farrah, Speidi almost like cartoon characters, it's all like a show or a performance specifically designed to get themselves airtime, sometimes I like the show they put on (Speidi and perez) and sometimes I don't (farrah) but ultimately I see them all as in a similar category, if you know what I mean?
Conor and Helen I see as similar HMs also, I see them as nasty and bullies but also real so they'll have other sides to their personalities that some people will like enough to over look or make excuses for the not so nice side which I get as well but for me the nasty side of Helen far out weighed the nicer side

Farrah, Helen at least most of the time had a base for what was behind her nastiness and temper.
Farrah just seems to invent anything and everything to be really horrible to anyone even when they don't really argue back either.

I think Perez and Speidi were definitely cartoon villains 'on purpose' if you like. I don't think Farrah is like that. She has genuine appetite to cause real upset, and she shows genuine glee when she causes it. There was nothing cartoon about her trying to unsettle Bobby mentioning his affair for example. She feeds on the hurt she causes and has no moment of reflection or remorse.
Conor too, refused all Deana's attempts at bridge building and had no mind to apologise or repent or even recognise his wrongness.
Helen was definitely horrible calling Jale 'slugsworth' etc. That was her total low moment for me, but she has reflected and regretted it since in a way the others never did/do. Her row with Matthew was just a stupid blow-up with no real poison, just all flames - plus he gave as good as he got, so fair enough.
Similarly when Brian blew up at Helen, she gave as good as she got (just like Matt did with her). But at least she held out on exploding at Brian on his first two 'attacks' and she only let rip on his third verbal/physical initimidation of her. Helen did nothing wrong in the last series other than to retaliate against Brian's 'attacks', but she still kept being labelled a 'bully' even when she hadn't 'bullied' anyone. Maybe people hadn't got over her treatment of Jale last year and wanted to keep punishing her for that, even though she'd atoned and moved on from it.
For me, Helen's bad sides are the occasional moment of exploding but apart from that, she is a fully rounded human, never afraid to apologise or admit when she is wrong. She can laugh at herself, and when the chips are down she is a caring person that is sympathetic and supportive of others. She is also open minded, funny and game for a laugh. She'd be a good mate in real life i reckon, unlike Conor and Farrah who are totally shut off from others and living in their own egos. Helen often laughs at herself and puts herself down which says a lot about her broad-minded better nature, especially when compared to Farrah/Conor who take themselves 100% seriously with no regrets on their behaviour.

Good post.
For me theres not much difference between between either Helen or Farrah, both vile, but Farrah still marginally better than Helen, because she hasnt gone on 'the journey' as yet!
Well I mean Helen had a lot of warnings and was a bully and had warnings for being a bullying and made things very personal.
Despite that, Helen did apologise even if she didnt mean it and could fake a redemption arc. They're both vile, but Farrah just throws temper tantrums and blames Big Brother her flip flop is broken... they're like £2 in Primark Farrah, chill
Helen for sure. But i'd rather be friends with Helen as she's at least moderately intelligent and was able to clock onto miserable Ashleigh :clap1:
