I think that you're mistaking their gameplaying style for them hating the UK.

I don't think it's as much xenophobic as it is what BB have set in place. Before they went in they knew they were going to be battling between the nations, I just think some of the housemates are getting carried away in the battle and they're finding it easier, quicker to call the rival team by the nation they are from.

Americans are less restrained cause it isn't being shown to the American public and the Brits are more cautious because they are.

On top of that the whole divide has been artificially created By BB by pitting them against each other with the USA vs UK theme. I'm sure they are thrilled you have gotten on board
