As I always say on here, while ever the public are in charge, winning BBUK (or any eviction result to be honest) is not a barometer of how good or entertaining a housemate you are. By and large the British public do not have a clue what they're doing, destroy series after series and crown some of the most questionable housemates winners

Sam won because he was a mildly attractive, young guy who was deaf and 'nice', and was the antithesis of Gina and Dexter who had both fans and many detractors. The anti-Ginxster vote is what won him the show, and it was the most laughably pathetic and undeserving result of any reality show ever on planet earth.

But even he had a character. Sure, it was a terrible, chavvy character. But a character nonetheless. Chris didn't even have a character at all.
