For all you gossip freaks, this is a thread where you can talk about that bitch who asked to borrow a pen from you and didn't return it, or that twat who bumped into you during your lunch break and didn't apologize :fist: Got a secret crush who you don't want your friends to know you're completely obsessed with? Talk about them all you want here. We won't judge you. :hello:

The drunk who nearly killed me in May got three months in jail, a £5000 fine and a two year ban. It wasn't his first offence. Thought I'd like to share that with the group.

2 years in jail And a lifetime ban would be more justified.
As would a little accident on a dark night.

There's this guy at work and I swear to god he doesn't understand the basic concepts of communication.

He'll tell you something, pause for a moment like he's waiting for you to say something and when you do he'll interrupt you or ignore what you were saying and just rabbit on about what he was talking about before. I'm not far off just giving him a plank with a smiley face painted on to talk to 'cus he is infuriating.

There's these two people at work, both have families and yet both are constantly fawning over each other, making 'those' eyes at each other and ignore what others are saying to them when they are around each other etc.. they clearly think no one notices but I'm telling you they are either already having a fling or are borderline with it, I notice these things.

Oh Livia, that's terrible, i'm so pleased you're on the mend:hug: i knew you'd had an accident due to your previous posts but i never knew what happened.

On top of his sentence he should be made to work with victims of drink driving, so that he can see and experience what his actions have caused.

Hi Ruby.

If the selfish arrogant bastard has been convicted of 'Drunk Driving' before - which he has - then I don't think it will make an iota of difference if he WAS made to directly experience the results of his crime.

He has utter contempt for the law and other people, and should have received a minimum 5 years imprisonment, plus a lifetime ban from driving.

A pure recipe for disaster and heartbreak.

I agree with this bit Kirk, but i do believe that if people are made to experience the result of their actions, then maybe just maybe it may be enough to put a stop to their behaviour, but there's always an acception to the rule where you get people who couldn't care less about their actions or the consequences.

Thanks chaps... the most annoying thing is that he's a City trader, £5000 to him is probably the cost of a long lunch. However, I will be suing him civilly. He doesn't have a leg to stand on (which is ironic considering what he did to me...) as he did plead guilty.

Teenagers are hard.....it was so much easier when they were little girls, playing with my little pony's and barbies, painting pictures, playing in sand and water, watching bear in the big blue house, they would hold my hand in the street, sit on my knee and cuddle.......:(
