I like Scoop..he seems a decent nice bloke but the last couple of episodes he has really started to grate on me.
Last nights episode with the whole speech thing...and then he walked off instead of inviting a discussion. It just seems like he is preaching...the honourable wise man full of wisdom and peace...he is really starting to bore me!!
Anyone else feel the same?
Niamh.

Yes, he has dropped from being my favourite.
I find him too much, he has too much to say and expects everyone to jump to attention to listen to "this is how it is" .
I also think he is a bit of a floater .
I would find him patronizing he tries may be with good intentions to be all things to all people but ends up talking much yet saying little.I think the Americans have lost respect for him and this is also now starting to happen with the Brits who where seeing him as the best of the bunch.

Well said...you are absolutely right. I don't know what it is..but Farrah, Jenna and Scoop have lots to say but then afterwards you kinda think...what did that all mean?....it doesn't seem to make any sense.

He seems to drift between groups not wanting to offend anybody.
Nice man but has no authority.
I don't think he will ever get nominated though.
All HM's like him.

I have gone off him. He has been shouting over people and I hate that.
..I swear when he was making his speech last night, I could hear the star spangled banner playing ....he's so gorgeously sincere, I love him.....

He's a OK bloke but he gets carried away the last couple of days he's been awful.

He's coming across too patronising.
Scoop is the only one that deserves to win this series and by a long long way

He has had his amusing moments but i have never really liked him after he behaved like a bratty child on the first night because he was sent to the tower. He showed his true colours then and has been trying to hide them since.

Totally agree with this thread. Scoop def has good intentions and is a good guy for sure. But the speeches are way OTT. They 'sound' powerful but listen closely and they don't even make sense.
That one at the breakfast table about 'there are homeless people out there and one slice of bread would be the best sh*t that happened to them in months'.. It was almost like a comedy, like David Brent in an MC's body.
Sadly i think they are just an ego trip for Scoop. I could tell this when Natasha asked him what he meant during the last speech. He didn't answer her question, he just shut her up so he could carry on talking. It didn't matter to him that she didn't even understand him, it just mattered to him that she was quiet so he could talk AT everybody.
Shame cause i like Scoop a lot, but i'll be glad when he stops being the president as it's not doing him any favours.

He's the "president" so he feels obligated to give speeches and mediate which is too OTT sometimes. Doesn't help when Janice tells him that he doesn't do enough as the house president.

This, plus he probably struggles to get his point across with some of them in there.:joker:

Yes he goes on to long
without saying much
A total pain in the arse, all i see is a sweaty, blubbery lipped, boring old voiced, know it all.
I don't think he's OTT and still really like him, the past few days I feel as if he's been getting drawn in to all the drama though when he really doesn't want that, the president thing encouraged that too.
For those that don't like the way he speaks he explained on the highlights that he has a polyp on his throat that makes him sound the way he does.
