What is the Fake Eviction meant to accomplish?

it's meant to shock the housemates when they return. the reaction when they come back is what it's all about. remember when Speidi came back? It;'s all about the banished housemates storming back in, preferably pissed off about people talking behind their backs while they were gone, and the reaction of the current housemates to their return.

Not only that but the housemates still in the house will curb what they say, when usually they slag off the "evicted" housemates, which causes massive rows when the "evicted" housemates return.

It sounded like the housemates that aren't evicted will know for definite (instead of the usual speculation) that the "evicted" housemates are in a secret room and that's it.

The house will probs get rewarded if they fool them into thinking that theyre bitching about them. Farrah will return to the house really mad and then the hms will have to act surprised and then secret task is completed. Just 2 or 3 days of drama and if Marcs time in his home is anything to go by, Farrah will probably be immune.

Edit: scratch that first part, just worked out we're voting for next evictions immunity.

i think its simply that the hm's can then spin any story they like knowing that the 2 evicted will suck it up and believe it. So the bottom line is, being in the secret room will be a bad thing for those fake evicted, not a good thing.

This time it would be great if the housemates get to see/hear what the folks in the safe house are saying so when they come out of the secret room, they'll have a lot of explaining to do.

I see this as a punishment for the two people who get voted into the safe house....so I'd love to see Farrah and Jenna in there. Who cares if they get immunity, they won't be voted out yet anyway.

You're right...I don't think it would have any effect on Farrah because everyone knows how nasty she is and how she feels about them...but Jenna has really been so two-faced with apologizing to Bobby and trying to talk it out with Natasha, then bashing them behind their backs. I'd love to see her exposed as her and Farrah will undoubtedly say some pretty nasty things about all the housemates.
