I personally think they charge far too much, I think the maximum a pizza should be is £9.99.

A large pizza should not cost £16.99 IMO.

I rarely buy pizzas from Dominos etc. anymore because of the price, but I do like their pizzas.

But apparently are local Pizza Hut is great to eat in, so may try them.

What are thoughts?

I got a huge pizza from sainsburys yesterday and it was loaded. I love the new pizzas counters in supermarkets.

Dominos are pure Rip-Off merchants and their pizzas always look like the base has been thinly spread with vomit. Ugh.

It's ridiculous, I only order from there when they have deals on.

Same.

Where has the any size pizza - £9.99 delivered deal gone from Dominos.

I don't mind dominos pizza but it's not at all worth the price. I rarely ever buy one and when I do I always feel guilty for spending that amount of money on an average tasting pizza. I actually prefer the ones from supermarkets and at not even half the price you can't go wrong really.

Definitely, Supermarkets have made their pizzas nice other the last few years IMO.

The ones from the pizza counters that they make in the store are loaded, they the staff put tons of topping on.

I also like Chicago Town 2 four cheese (comes in other flavours), and it's £1 for a box

They charge too much and don't even pay their workers well so there's no way to justify it really

It's bread tomato and cheese, takeout pizza is so expensive for what they are Morrisons pizzas are nice but I prefer to make my own, not that I eat pizza now anyway.

I've noticed that Dominos up north isn't as nice as down south.

Yeah, it's not that much when you get a load of people over and you've got a half price voucher code

I don't eat either that much to complain about the prices. Infact, I haven't had Pizza Hut in years. I've heard it's not as good as it used to be. I just buy Pizza from the Supermarket and put it in the oven with my own toppings of choice or make it from scratch.

Yeah, Pizza Hut charge £16.99 for a large online.

But I've heard it's really reasonable in a restaurant.

Agree with above that you can get just as good pizza from supermarkets for 1/10 of the price. If you're going to pay that much you might as well go out for a meal.

I do prefer them to frozen / chilled aisle ones you get in the supermarket but yes

I only get them occasionally, because they're overpriced.

The best takeaway pizza I've ever had is from Papa Johns in Cornwall tbh. £30 for two large pizzas, 4 portions of wedges, 4 drinks, and a large cookie for four. Tasted nice and was a good deal, and was a final night treat on holiday.

Generally they're all expensive though and I don't bother. I don't really see the fuss when I can pay a fraction of a Domino's and get a better quality frozen pizza from the supermarket.

I find when I want a takeaway as a rare treat I'll go for something else where I get more for my money.
