View Full Version : Austin confronts Chloe over 'alcoholism' claims
Jake.
15-09-2015, 04:28 PM
Chloe-Jasmine and Austin Armacost clash in tonight's Celebrity Big Brother 2015 and it ends in tears.
It begins after Big Brother gives Housemates some drinks for the night and Chloe-Jasmine rushes into the storage room to take some alcohol for Stevi and Bobby. As she leaves Austin tells Sherrie “I am ******ing done with her.”
Chloe-Jasmine enters the bathroom with the drinks, “I managed to snatch this from the vultures!”
Shortly after Austin bursts in and checks what Chloe-Jasmine has taken. He begins to get angry at Chloe-Jasmine and complains: “it’s just ironic that the other day you couldn’t get out of bed because you couldn’t be around alcohol and now you are running to the fridge to grab booze for him.”
Chloe-Jasmine responds “yes because I can’t open it, I am addicted to alcohol."
Bobby tries to diffuse the situation but Austin doesn’t let him “I am really disappointed because the other night when the whole house came together to make a toast because it was my brother’s birthday you stayed in bed, your reasoning being you couldn’t be around alcohol, and you just came in here to grab cocktails to bring to Stevi.”
Bobby again tries to calm Austin down but Austin disagrees and tells Chloe-Jasmine “It’s been 19 days that you have been around alcohol…it’s really ******ed up and everyone else agrees on that.”
The argument begins to get more heated and Chloe- Jasmine tells Austin that she was told to stay in the bedroom the other night by Janice which aggravates Austin “do you not have your own ******ing mind? Can you not make your own decisions? It’s really messed up.” Austin leaves the room.
Chloe-Jasmine tells Bobby and Stevi “he doesn’t understand, it’s a disease.”
Later, Chloe and Austin try to make amends but it just goes from bad to worse.
She says of missing Austin's toast: “I could have been there but this is a disease that I have, it’s horrible, alcoholism.”
Austin says “it was my brother’s 30th birthday, the whole house came to make a toast for him and you were the only person who didn’t have enough respect to get out of bed.”
Austin and Chloe Jasmine. Austin and Chloe Jasmine.
Chloe-Jasmine begins to cry “it’s really ******ing hard.” Austin says that he feels disappointed and disrespected.

Austin is letting his temper get the better of him. He needs to be careful or he'l end up alienating a lot of the housemates.

Austin is so self entitled and judgemental.
She maybe didn't want to go to the toast because she didn't want to upset the group by telling everyone she had alcoholism issues. All she did was grab a drink for 2 others, she was hardly selfish. Austin should start clocking Natasha and Sherrie who drink half a bottle of wine between them and then moan about the others.

Maybe because the drink was unopened and she was in a positive mood?
The day of the toast she could have been having a down day and couldn't face being around the others drinking.

He would have probably accused her of trying to be the center of attention. Like I said in another thread, he just doesn't like her and wants something to have over her. He seems very bitchy the last couple of days.

He has no right to be angry at someone because they didn't toast his brother, it would have been a nice gesture if she did, but it doesn't make her disrespectful or rude because she didn't, Austin is not entitled to have everyone do whatever he wants them to do, if she didn't go out there to toast, that's her decision and no-one else's, it sounds like he's been a dick to her for absolutely no reason apart from his massive ego being hurt by someone disobeying him.
Dollface
15-09-2015, 05:52 PM
Can't believe people think he was attention seeking when making the toast. They all make toasts, Bobby made a toast on his birthday and started crying his eyes out. I think it's pretty normal behaviour to make a toast on the birthday of a loved one..
goldensunlight
15-09-2015, 05:54 PM
I can guarantee if it had been Janice's brother then Chloe would've been out there, if Austin (for example, someone who is generally disliked) hadn't gone to the toast then he would be so rude and disrespectful and Janice wouldn't have let it go either, she'd have caused a scene which Austin didn't do.
Some of these double standards are unreal beyond words.

To me, everything Austin does is attention seeking, I can't see passed that, imo he doesn't do/say anything, if he doesn't think it'll get him some airtime, I wouldn't go in there and make a toast on the birthday of a dead loved one, nor would I expect anyone else to join in if I did, my problem with Austin is that he seems to expect everyone to respect him or the things he does, which doesn't really cut it for me

I don't think it's disrespectful at all, she doesn't seem to have a problem with him so it obviously wasn't out of spite, maybe toasting his brother would have brought bad memories back of someone she lost, no-one knows really, but no-one in there was obliged to go there, it wasn't a necessity, I just think Austin is an arrogant oaf who loves to control people

Perhaps it's a tradition for him/his family to make a toast on his brother's birthday every year, being on BB shouldn't break that tradition. I think there's a lot of attention seeking behaviour in that house but imo toasting a dead loved one isn't one of them.

I think people should just admit that all Austin is doing is attention seeking and trying to make himself the hero or the victim in most situations to get in favor with the public. Because they both strike me as completely insincere, James watches the show, he's been on reality tv, he knows how to get air time, the easiest way to get air time these days is either a showmance, bromance, or to be argumentative, James tried for all three, if Tila had stayed in, he would have went there with her, the whole 'do you think she fancies me?' thing about Farrah was a blatant attempt to stir things up and he got lucky by having a gay guy in there for him to play the part of 'loving, understanding, non judgmental straight man who loves gays' which, in general is a good thing, but it's so contrived it's painful to watch and Austin is fake to t'core so everything he does is contrived imo

I had my suspicious about James for a long time but when Jenna was evicted and he was like "come on guys lets all clap for Jenna!" When she was walking out the door, trying to be the house leader it was just so insincere. But yes his whole "I know your gay but I'm comfortable in my sexuality to sleep in a bed with you" thing is so attention seeking. I slightly (like 1% of me) feels sorry for Austin because James obviously uses him to gain popularity.

I see this has turned into "let's call a friendship fake" thing again
Some people eat that **** up like pancakes and James knows it, I however do not believe it.

Austin feeling butthurt because Chloe wouldn't get out of bed to toast his brother? She's not obligated to and she doesn't owe you anything, Austin. Maybe she's trying to stay away from alcohol or maybe she's just a mess. You ain't that great yourself so ****.

I absolutely hate Austin but I understand where he's coming from here. He saw Chloe grab the alcohol for Stevie and presumed that she'd be around Stevie while he consumed the alcohol. Which doesn't make sense if she can't be around alcohol for a toast.
