Is anyone else annoyed at Dan Wooton always being on BOTS?

I mean I don't watch BOTS religiously or anything but when I sometimes decide to tune in he's always on the panel. He's been on the panel like 20 times this series and during BB16 as well. I don't really get Channel 5's obsession with him in the last few months, tbh. He was on the panel like 3 days ago, and now he's on again. I hate it when BOTS have the same guests over and over again within a short period of time.

Also, the lack of Patrick Strudwick is criminal :fist:

The only reason I (I wouldn't say like) but put up with Dan Wooton is because he has the same opinions I mostly agree with.

They probably don't have that many people wanting to go on the show to choose from, which is why they always have the same (rubbish) people lol. It's a late night, trashy, Rylan fronted CH5 panel show about a reality show that most people consider to be passed it. What do you expect?

His delivery of his personal opinions were flawless and regarding the Scoop issue, he killed Scoop with 2 sentences and Scoop retorted the standard messages we are all programmed to hear but Hooten got his point over with a smile which rattled someone because they couldn't handle the truth.

You don't go on BB to act as a paragon of virtue, you are there to entertain and be yourself, not a caricature of a person you think we will all love and respect.

He said that Scoop had a massive ego and that he thought he was going to win, but Scoop shut him down the only way he knows how, a righteous rant about how he's the winner because he wouldn't have disappointed anybody he loves with his actions and that he's cured himself of diabetes so he's the winner in his eyes anyway :love:

You make a really good point. But it hasn't always been like that. I mean BOTS was actually decent until CBB15/BB16. Ever since then, the panellists have been awful as has the show. They either get the same people too often or don't get any good people. I think Emma leaving BOTS and that overhaul they gave BOTS after BB15/CBB14 for CBB15 hasn't done it any favours tbh.

I think they had him on again because they probably thought Stevi and Chloe were going to be evicted and wanted them and Dan on the panel together so they could argue if the relationship was real or not...
