"I could care less"
IT'S COULDN'T!!!!!

THANK YOU! :clap1:

I honestly thought it was just me. "I could care less" means the opposite of what you're trying to say, surely?

And these inane trends like "YOLO" and "Selfie" irritate the crap out of me.

'just banter' - Because normally it means someone is being a dick head and trying to downplay it as humor.

'well in' - Well in what?

'YOLO' - :idc:

'Me caring' - Please **** off, if you took the time to reply you care.

'I swear on ____ life' - Yeah just don't do this and tempt fate because you'll feel awful is something did happen.

When people are attempting to brag about their social life on Facebook and are like "It's gonna be a MESSY one".

Yeah, that doesn't sound appealing in the slightest.

I hate the word 'shortly'.
When used in,something will be there shortly, or someone will be there shortly or ring you shortly.

Just how long is rotten 'shortly', it drives me mad.

At the end of the day.
Can I be honest with you?
100%

..I was going to say at the end of the day as well Mizzy...can I be honest with you about that..?..(I really was going to say it..)...

..I don't mind 100% but it's the 110% and the 150% that don't make sense at all...

..also phrase/expression that I think has been discussed in threads before...you can't have your cake and eat it...well, yes I couldn't eat it if I didn't have it really because if I was eating it and didn't have it, I'd probably be stealing someone else's cake to eat...

I hate when you have someone on the phone and they have to look for something for you and they say "bear with me".

It's even worse when a bear actually turns up and sits next to them.

The phrases that really tick me off are

'I don't mean to be funny'
'At the end of the day'
and people who keep saying 'Really, really', because they can't think of a comeback reply.

Agree with so many listed here.

'at the end of the day'
'it is what it is'
'could care less'

Recently, I've been hearing a lot of this one:

"that's exactly right."

Thank you, friend, for letting me know that I'm not only right, but exactly right. Extremely helpful. I truly didn't mind this at first, but it's been gaining on my nerves a bit. Eh...I could care less. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp32/sharkattack_torrential/smilies/miniz.gif

"There's no smoke without fire" -- Oh No? Try taking chemistry lessons.

"Blood's thicker than water" -- It depends on whose arteries it's flowing through, and besides - so is shet.
