Letters from home

I don't know about anyone else, and maybe I'm just a bitter lemon lol, but whenever BB do the letters from home bit, and everyone's crying, and they play the soppy music, I just kind of roll my eyes at it and think how ridiculous the whole thing is :hehe: Obviously I don't know what it's like to be in the house but I just think, come on it's been like 4 weeks or however long, get a grip. And when Natasha's letter said "for such a long time now the world has seemed dull because you haven't been there" I laughed so hard, it sounded really silly and over dramatic to me.
There's probably the occasional exception, for example I remember when Kemal in BB6 got his letter I found that really touching. But that was different because of his situation with his family.

Anyway what do you think when they do the letters? Do you get all upset and emotional for them, or are you like me and just want to shake and slap them till they stop crying??

I can understand letters being more important for normal BB, because they are away much longer, but for CBB its only 4 weeks, I find it a bit over the top.

Despite my anger at Janices disrespect for Austin's letter and the person who had actually sent the letter to by flinging it on the floor.
I really fail to see why they need letters.

They are celebrities, there are likely loads of times in their careers where they have not contacted others for weeks.
They all know their families and friends can see them on the TV in the series, and for 4 to 5 weeks, that is nothing really.


The general BB series, letters there yes but not in CBB, not needed at all in my opinion.

Well they've had them since the C4 days, so it's nothing new. I don't mind them for BB as the housemates are usually away for months, but I find them pointless in CBB when the celebrities have only been away for a few weeks. Like they've probably been on holidays longer that.

I hate letters from home, its just ten mins of people crying. Plus they always give the letters taken away back to the housemates in a day or so. Boring.....
