Im not because there is a risk people could just dislike every post they see plus it could lead people to falling out over it.

Honestly I couldn't give a **** about it, if people are going to fall out over a dislike button on FB they need to step away from the computer for a bit imo

No, it's a ridiculous idea that will only encourage more nastiness.

No way, it could cause some right riots in schools... 'omg can you believe tyler unliked my pic? wtf what a sket, I'm totally going to smash her face in'

No, it's just one more reason to further convince me to never bother signing up. If I had a FB account while I was in school and this feature was introduced I can guarantee everyone who hated me would've disliked every post I made. The representative person in the article posted in here a while ago who said this would be used to "express empathy" rather than nastiness has obviously never used the Internet before!!

Yeah actually I suppose in regards to kids it could be bad alright, kids are kind of moving away from FB mainly now though I think. It's all Instagram and snapchat atm

People are jumping the gun, it's not going to be a simple "oh i'm going to dislike this girl's profile photo." it's for when like people die in a car crash or something and an article is put up.

“We didn’t want to just build a Dislike button because we don’t want to turn Facebook into a forum where people are voting up or down on people’s posts. That doesn’t seem like the kind of community we want to create.

Surely you can't have a like without a dislike? It would make no sense...

Yeah it's supposed to be more a way to show empathy, though I don't see why it's necessary seeing as in that case I think there are better ways to express your condolences than clicking a 'dislike' button

Hell no. Especially after seing headlines like 'Girlfriends kills boyfriend for not liking her picture' and 'A woman from Australia suicides for not receiving enough likes in one day". With dislikes I don't know what some people in this world will figure out to do.

it would just encourage trolling, and would also kill their ad revenue, so I don't believe it will ever happen
