View Full Version : Austin can't handle it when James has a different opinion

And this is why James nominated him. He has tried to talk to him many times, but he does not listen.

He nominated him for one very obvious reason... So he could play the poor guy who was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Between doing the "right thing" and upsetting his friend. Poor boy. But being someone who is absolutely committed to the truth and standing up to injustice, like Batman, he nominated Austin. What a hero. Give him a cape. He's already got the mask.
Everything about what that man did was self promotion so as to win a game show. He'd throw his grandmother under the bus to do it I suspect.

Absolutely right.
Absolute nonsense that only someone who has been taken in by James could actually write.
Look, it's difficult to admit when you've been conned, I know. If it makes you feel better, I was taken in by James until recently as well.

Did you literally just take notes and copy and paste James's speech for us? :joker:

It's not about James having a different opinion to him, it's about the way he goes on and on and on about it and doesn't let it lie. We get it, James doesn't like the way Austin handles situations, but that's who he is and he's not going to change his ways for anyone, nor should he feel he has to. It's James with the problem, not Austin.

Yes - you'll notice James only gets arced up (which is about Austin and the old prono slag's level 2 out of 10) when he's REALLY pushed and is completely exasperated.
I swear if I lived with some of those carnts, there'd be physical violence!

Austin was fine with Jame's difference of opinion...until Jenna latched onto him...now he second guesses all of James intentions.

Austin is just an entitled self centred little prick that is obviously used to being surrounded by people willing to blow smoke up his arse regardless of how he behaves.
He cant handle being told the truth some people have a twisted and very basic definition of what a friend is if they think it is just someone that is going to suck your arse and defend you regardless of how badly you behave.
A real friend is someone that will tell you that you are acting like a twat if they think you are instead of just enabling your idiotic behaviour.
^ Thank you, close up the site and go home!
It actually says a LOT about the people that disagree with James' actions towards Austin. THEY'D be the kind of people that would expect they could do ANYTHING in life and have all their peeps just say, "No - it's not your fault - you're ALWAYS right! NO MATTER what you do, you're ALWAYS right"
Fark off.

We all know that Austin has issues, but then so does everyone.
Austin is not an anomaly where his temper is concerned, or the lack of acceptance when it comes to other peoples opinions.
But James has handled all that up until now, why is that? The lack of remorse that James showed after Austin knew that James had nominated him was startling too.
I actually would normally like behaviour like this, but James always tries to turn his actions into righteousness and it's incredibly annoying and boring to watch.
And when has James ever sided with Austin when James himself hasn't been attacked? He never would/never will do it unless his ego is dented, where as I bet that Austin would still defend James now if a Housemate went and deliberately set out to wind him up because despite Austin's many flaws he actually likes James.

Fair dues to Bobby, Austin was genuinely upset and James just looked on, James is a calculating cold Fish, Austin has anger issues and he overstepped the mark with Janice by miles but he has shown us genuine emotion as for a James there is nothing genuine about him.
Has NOBODY thought to realize that just MAYBE the close up shots of James looking dispassionate and cold just MIGHT have been edited in? There could have been ANY time in a half hour period where James was just sitting there quietly, pondering the night's events and the producers edited that exact shot in, to make it look like he was being cold and removed from Austin.
That being said, who are we to say how people should behave when an hysterical, sobbing and crying loony emerges from the diary room bawling his eyes out??? Some people are not comfortable with that and may wish to keep their distance a bit.

If we're going with the editing argument then who's to say that Austin's arguments aren't being edited to look worse than they actually are? And Jenna's gameplaying sessions?

Completely agree with you Cherie, for me Austin is the most real one in there.

Everybody is different. James is the kind of person who keeps things inside when he's upset. So he may look fine, but i'm sure he's not.

:laugh:There is friendship there, who knows they may replace Rylan on BOTS or be the new Ant and Dec:laugh:
^ I don't know what that means but I'd LOVE to see them on BOTS if
1. They could make out
and
2. They replace Kenneth Williams and his mincing!!!

james has no problem backstabbing his best friend by nominating and james always comes up with bull**** stupid high almighty excuses for them. and at the same time, james cannot point out any faults in Janice, which shows his convictions and actions were false and tactical. janice gets away with a murder in the house. james is snake and what irritates me he talks down to people.

If you'd noticed, last night Jenna and James were having it out and Austin was sat silently on the bed next to James, then James got out and started firing questions at Austin, then continued to walk out. If he can't handle it, he shouldn't start it in the beginning.
He walks away because he doesn't know how to handle arguments well, anyone who watched him on The Apprentice would know this too.

I just find it weird how some people define friendship anyone that would lick arse just to stay in my good books would be a million miles away from earning any respect.
Im not really a fan of James but i respect him behaving like his he has his own mind rather than being a desperate little gimp that would crawl up someones arse just because fwiend. So basic.

Is it, I wonder an American trait to have someone's back, even though their behaviour is despicable.
I watch Real Housewives of Beverley Hills (I know, I'm sorry but I like it) and have noticed this same trait on there.
A couple of the women are out and out nasty, abusive and turn on their friends and relatives for not standing up for them even when their behaviour was reprehensible.
The only woman to tell them they were wrong and their friendship could never be the same was British, whilst the Americans just let things ride.
Pretty much the same as going on here, Farrah, Jenna and Austin see nothing wrong in behaving like they do but scream blue murder if their backs aren't covered when they do it.
If you'd noticed, last night Jenna and James were having it out and Austin was sat silently on the bed next to James, then James got out and started firing questions at Austin, then continued to walk out. If he can't handle it, he shouldn't start it in the beginning.

Jenna and James were not 'having it out' because as you well know Jenna wouldn't let him get a word in. He hardly got two words out the whole time she was spouting. He told her to keep out of it and started asking Austin a question at which point both Austin and Jenna both started yapping at him together. James handles arguments brilliantly actually. He never yells or gets nasty and he knows when to stay and when to walk away because it is useless to try to talk to people who are going on and on about the same thing or talking over you.

James always does the talking and he goes over the same few sentences all the time, so I imagine people tire of it. Jenna was trying to make him understand and see it from her point of view, which I'm still not really sure he did. It's not Austin's fault if Jenna sits there and defends him  It's not like he asks her to or follows her everywhere she goes, if anything it's the other way round. It's a shame James hadn't learnt to handle arguments so well on The Apprentice.

You're joking, right? He has two loud mouth twats yelling in his face not letting him get a word in which is why he has to repeat his sentences as they never let him finish what he is saying. He has the patience of a saint. He has learned a lot from his stint on the Apprentice.

Austin always lets him speak and most of the time just sits there and listens. In this instance I don't blame them for challenging him, he seems to be unable to see it from their point of view and always thinks he's in the right. His patience hasn't really been tested because he walks away from anything he knows he can't handle. He's learnt what not to do and is trying different tactics now. :hehe:
