You don't pronounce it as its own seperate individual sound, that's not how words work, you pronounce the L in conjunction with the O and K

No, I pronounce it with the L because it's a German word and that's how they pronounce it.

No. Silent L in folk, because that's the English pronunciation, Sounded L in volk, because that's the German pronunciation. I've never heard anyone pronounce it your way, Niamh. I think you're just trying to start a trend...
