BBCan1 vs. BBCan2

I'm going to start watching BBCan for the first time and I'm wondering which series to watch. I've heard a few say BBCan2 is the best, but a few also say BBCan1 is the best.

This is also the first time I'm watching an international version of BB as I only watch C/BBUK.

So yeah, which is better BBCan1 or BBCan2. Avoid spoilers please, kty.

BB2 is definitely the more iconic season with so many people labeling it as one of the best seasons ever (it was good but not THAT good.)

For what it's worth, I do think BB2 had a better holistic story from start to finish. That part is definitely better than BB1. HOWEVER, I will always prefer BB1 because I think the cast is much, much more dynamic with higher highs and lower lows (BBCan casting kinda gets less inspired each year) and it's legitimately one of the funniest seasons of any reality TV show ever. There are so many hilarious and iconic moments in BB1 literally from start to finish.

Both seasons are excellent though, much better than BB3.

The Shapiro era is good and not that tacky I promise!!! Seasons 2-6 are definitely worth it (2, 3, and 6 especially, but 5 is also important and 4 has some good parts as well) but after that you're definitely right. Grodner just does so many things WRONG like the Diary Room is so ****ing offensive and only used for people to give generic DRs like "I'm on the block so I *HAVE* to win the Power of Veto!!!" or just scream random **** in wacky voices and read cuecards.

But yeah, if you ever are going to watch BBUS, you wouldn't really miss much if you only watched the Shapiro seasons.

Definitely watch the early series of BBUS! 2, 3 and 6 are all amazing seasons (especially 6!!). Everything since Grodner took over has been a mess though - apart from 10 and 11.

I watched BBCAN1 in early 2014 after Jack_ forcing me to and finished it in about a week, it's so funny and addictive, you will LOVE Gary and Suzette

(Gary is kinda like Kemal)

I haven't seen the other two though so my vote is bias.

Yeah, I've heard really good things about BBUS6. I'll check that out when I get to BBUSA.

2 is a far better produced season and one that has a much more enjoyable narrative with plenty more drama and better gameplay too, but I'd honestly say watch season one first.

It has an amazing cast, hilarious moments and it's enjoyable to watch the show find its feet, adapt and position itself as some BBUS/BBUK hybrid. It's the first US format season I watched and now the rest is history so hopefully it should do the same conversion to you :spin2: I also for the most part prefer watching things in order but that's just me

Watch 1, then 2. And then start on BBUS, 11 or 6 are good ones to start with if you like drama and divides. BB15 despite the bigotry is good and if you want recency it's the best option, this season has been good but it's not BBUS in it's traditional format so don't start with that.

All Stars is amazing and to me is as near perfection an AS season and cast you can get. That and BB2 are my favourite seasons but you're a way off that yet. Try BBCan to ease you in, watch BB6 or BB11 if you're committed, maybe BB15 after that, and then if you become a superfan watch from BB2 onwards :D

BB1. Season 2 has my favorite houseguest ever, and the best gameplayer ever but for some reason it's my least favorite of the three seasons. I think it's just got 1 and 3 had such amazing overall casts that gave off such a positive and watchable vibe.

Also Topaz, Alec, Talla and Emmett make season 1 so enjoyable :D

BBCA1 for sure, it's very lively and it had a really good feeling from start to finish. Also much better then the two past BBUK seasons.
