Vicki Michelle to press charges after being injured in CBB glass-throwing fracas
'Allo 'Allo actress Vicki Michelle is to press charges after suffering injuries when she was hit by a champagne glass during a TV panel show, her agent told ITV News.
It comes after she revealed she suffered whiplash and concussion after being hit in the back of the head, and said she feared she could have been blinded.
Paul Pearson, of agency London Theatrical, confirmed to ITV News that the 64-year-old actress would be pursuing legal action against those involved in the incident.
Michelle is believed to have been caught in the crossfire when tensions flared between former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and American reality TV star Farrah Abraham, as they all sat on a panel for Celebrity Big Brother spin-off Bit On The Side.
Hertfordshire Police are investigating the incident at Elstree Studios in north London, which forced Channel 5 bosses to take the show off-air 10 minutes early.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Michelle said the glass had been thrown by Abraham.
"I'm in complete and utter shock. If I had been looking the other way I could have got it full in the face, she could have blinded me. It was awful.
She whacked the glass hard like a discus. It was the base of the glass and it shattered in my hair. It was so hard my head went forward and back. It all went off, it was like the OK Corral, it was like being in a Western. I couldn't believe that was happening on national television.
It happened in such an instance that the audience went quiet, they were stunned. They couldn't believe it."
She claimed Horgan-Wallace had thrown her drink over her and Abraham after Abraham called her a "hag", prompting the glass-throwing.
It was only when fellow panellist Janice Dickinson threw a chair at Abraham that she stopped, Michelle claimed.
She was checked over by paramedics at the scene and later given an MRI, she said.
A publicist for Abraham told the Mirror that the TV personality had been "assaulted twice" and had received medical attention for her injuries.
They declined to name her attacker.
A spokesman for Hertfordshire Police said officers were trying to establish exactly what happened and would release further details when appropriate.
A Channel 5 spokesman said an investigation was underway.

that will be interesting to see if BB will let it go through. they will have to explain their actions, i think BB will pay everyone off to drop charges. if it goes to court, especially with americans, they will have to disclose all of their choices, and production choices, i don't think endememol will disclose that. i think endemol will pay her off and pay farrah off. everyone involved will make a lot of money.
endemol will protect it's franchise.
we have seen all these stories before ... in the recent past Victor and Brian were going to take legal action, nothing ever came of them
I am always very sceptical of such news stories as generally speaking, if action was being taken, it would be done quietly.

Farrah and Vikki just made a lot of money.

well then endemol will have to pay millions of dollars to defend it in court, and they'd rather just give a few thousand to everyone involved.
no matter how you twist it, endemic is responsible for how the situation played out, and it's easy to prove that they even designed it, Endemic does;'t want to have to disclose how they set up the whole situation.
Endemol will do anything to stay out of the courts system, because any decision against them or showing they were responsible for the violence would ruin their business all over the world. it would set a precedent.

Endemol put them on the same panel. That's all. They paid them a fee and set them on the same panel. If two grown women can't act like adults and someone in the middle ends up getting injured, the women themselves are to blame, and in this case, whoever threw the glass. Technically.

I think Farrah might possibly press charges too. Her spokespeople said to 'The Mirror' newspaper that
"Farrah was assaulted twice the second assault causing injury. She was seen by a medic and the matter has now been handed over to her lawyers."
Under that it was said that Rylan restrained her and Janice threw a chair at her.
This matchs what Vicky herself even said.
Aisling threw her drink at Farrah.
Farrah threw her glass and Jenna's glass.
Rylan grabbed Farrah around the waist.
Then Janice threw a chair at Farrah.
(presumably whilst Farrah was still being restrained by Rylan)
Jenna has said that Farrah got hit in the both her head and her back by the chair and that Jenna also ended up getting some of Aisleyne's drink in her eye after Aisling flung it.
I still think the producers hold responsibility for bringing Aisleyne on after she had already publicly threatened what she was going to do to Farrah on the show and she went and did just what she promised. They can call it "pantomime" all they want, it was still a premeditated attack that was known about by producers and allowed to happen.
I think both Vicki and Farrah should press charges against Channel 5.
Jason.

To be fair no one should throw anyone at anyone for any reason on a TV show they are guesting on to give their opinions.
The probelem here lies wit BB and Channel 5 bringing onthe highly volatile and nasty piece of work that is Aisleyne, when they knew she didn't like Farrah and aslo that Farrah was also asked to eb on the panel at the same time, thereby not ony inviting but allowing to develop great hostilities as to the panel.
Farrah is fully responsible for the glass hitting Vicky as she threw that,so unless BB are desperate for this to be 'queitened' down she could face assault charges.
However the main antagonist for me was Aisleyne, who really made the aim of ensuring there were hostilites between her and Farrah.
BB and Channel 5 were responsible for creating that scenario, they should be far more selective who they have on the panel.
Housemates from the series in play, have every right to be there whereas Aisleyne was a guest and should been made to behave far better than she did.
Whatever happens as to Vicky and Farrah, one thing is sure, someone as volatile and pathetic as Aisleyne should be barred form any future involvement in any BB series in the future for her behaviour too.

Throwing liquid from ten feet away, and missing completely is not an assault. Farrah cannot throw a glass and claim self defence, she was not defending herself, she was angry... raving, in fact. You referring to the person who was injured as "a washed-up celebrity" doesn't make her any less the victim. Everyone's going on about money... I think even getting Farrah to acknowledge that she is a bloody liability who can't hold her temper might just save her life in the future...

I agree because with her attitude to others, even people trying to help her will cause her to crash and burn eventually.
No one wants that to happen but it seems unavoidable if she doesn't do something about it.
Jenna is so wrong for her facilitating and mentoring her behaviour, she needs to avoid her like the plague.
We have seen Jenna run away from confrontation leaving Farrah to take the brunt, one day Farrah might meet someone just as angry and confrontational and come off hurt.

Agreed poppsywoppsy, especially the bit about Jenna being the facilitator and enabler.
